Looks like cable has a bit more steam to get the stops of what they call "weak hands". Put a buy stop over the high, hoping to get a few from a spike.

'Morning, all.

Frustration awaited me dragging myself out my pit this morning. Having said that, not too much surprise, as I had that gut feeling that what happened was going to happen, lol.

Simple Dreams GU triggered Long and had hummed-and-hawed before getting (sort of) properly underway. Looked good for a while and was sitting about halfway to tp when I headed off.

Anyway, as I said, Simple Dreams indeed, as it was stopped out by a single pip. It had made it to +7 (after buffer) of my tp target of +11. Price then popped down towards Demand and that was that. Using S+D the way I do, as I said, I felt it was inevitable that this was going to happen and if I hadn't been sticking to ''Da Roolz'', then no way was a sl going where it was slated to go.

Anyway, -10. Of course, it goes without saying that price then went on and hit the tp level and more.

I can't remember whether the ea is coded to re-enter again in the same direction after a fail and if it is, then all good.

However, all was not lost, as running parallel to this test, I had my own set-up going and as it turned out, you know what, the sl was a bit further away . As such, a good time was had by all.

Figures are on the screen but tp came in at +15, so overall in pip value, night ended up +5.

For me, it was always going to be Long at KO. Here's what I was seeing as far as DWZ info goes for instance...

I'm thinking I may join you on The Frankenbreak with the ea. I hope I will feel more invested in it then, as at the moment I am kind of...meh...

Put the ea on Dax last night range 4 am to 7 am (on a demo) and it didn't open. Think I know why will have another go tonight sl 20 tp 40.

EJ on live again. Also GU but increasing the sl to 20 and tp to 30.

Edit: will add EG Inception is doing well there.

Put it on EJ it seems the best one at the moment. AJ worth a look as H mentioned the other day.

Was just about to post that with a chart. It's struggling to hold the 00 I'm being patient and waiting for a drop. Again look at the day range it's going to move 40 to 50 one way or another.

Could be a couple of reasons.

The obvious one is the need to increase any kind of pip value figures needed by a factor of 10 on any indicator on mt4 if you use it on The DAX (some need it to be 100, SweetSpots for instance).

The other may be to make sure your broker isn't using synthetic candles over the night period. Some brokers will show candles as being there but their desk is actually closed, while others will simply suspend data and leave a gap on the charts. This always effects any indis on a DAX chart unless you are using the ones supplied as custom by your broker for their online platform.

Also - and I know you know this - but remember the spreads overnight will be at least double the usual, even under ''normal'' conditions.

The factor of 10 is the one I missed and was obvious. These night shifts are brain draining.

The other way around this is to put the close of the range at 7.15 mmm thinking lol very dangerous.
