Hi reteid2222, i don't use the tester, i think you know it's impossible to have good values of MTF stochastic with the tester, i'm an expert in TRUE MTF coding!

No...it just easy to code a "REAL" MTF indicator for example in H1 for H4:
- Take the present H1 bar no...
- Calculate the higher TF bar no...
- Go ONE bar back: This makes sure you get the last closed candle from higher TF
- Calculate value...

When are you going to open your own MTF thread????????

At 3:59 you will use the candle that’s already 3:59 hours old.

not nonsense...cause I take on higher TF one candle back...the one who could read are in advantage...as we in germany say...

That only solves peeking into future but makes the value worthless, because it's to old. So the whole solution is worthless (it's the same when some developer write they shift 1 bar, the information is already to old).
The only solution is to rebuild the current bar and implement the indicator calculation correct (since the MT4 implementation isn't there are no other shortcuts possible).

I browsed through your posts about experts and I might have something valuable to add. I have an impression that your approach to systems is one - dimensional, which is the main reason most of the people lose money. And even if you code something that works now, it will not work in two-three meonths, due to market changes.

What to do? There is a simple strategy to increase effectiveness of EA's/systems, increase profitability and decrease number of losses. And it is really simple, however I dont know fif it is simple from the coders perspective, might require a lot of additional effort.

Let's approach the system from a mathematical perspective: we want the highest possible expected value (a sum of wins multiplied by a probability of win) : we want to increase probability of each outcome (win) and the size of win.

Both can be incerased with the simple step - trading with the trend on higher TF. You can also trade with thend on two higher TF's. For example if you want to enter short on M5, assure there are down trends present on M15 and H1. And also the trends are far from the end (it can be done taking only one or two initial signals in early trend and leave the rest).

I saw that you use momentum as an one of your indicators. If you understand momentum, you can trade the momentum at M5, but you will ger far better results (both in probability and length of a move) if you will trade the same momentum with strong momentum present on M15 (or even H1). That's only an example how the indicators can be combined.

Simple strategy without too much coding might be - switching EA's only when on a pair/instrument certain conditions are present - for example momentum is bigger than X, or slope of the price on H1/M15 is bigger than Y (guaranteeing us that we are trading with in a strong trend). Hope you understand the picture.

To avoid weak and choppy markets you can add time contrraints - excluding night/lunch time where moves are rarely strong. Try to filter out - the best and the worst conditions and assure that your EA will work in the first and not in the last.

After that, after period of testing you can ask yourself what in common have your best trades and the worst ones? It might be an another step in your way to great automated profits.

I saw that you are good with various dashboards - do probably you have an idea of looking at 30 pairs at once and launching EA's only when certain, precise conditions on the market are fulfilled.

I believe your success in trading/coding lies in choosing only the best trades, and then, with bigger equity in choosing only the best of the best signals, both in probability and length of the move.

Just look in the previous post and U see that we r not aware to these things....yes we r really fighting how to code it best....
But even vettel needs sometimes hints to do it better...so i m open any time for tips!

Ret, if you dont know these things there is a possibility that all your work, regardless how brilliant it will be - will be in vain. You will not build your equity.

Trading with the trend is like riding from a hill in a car. Less gas and the car practically moves itself.

Imagine a strong trend on M15 for example. When you look "inside" it, on M5 - you will see that bars down are stronger, longer than bars up.

And thats the point.

If you have any EA on M5 for example - add a feature that it will take longs only if trend on M15 is up, shorts only when M15 trend is down.

Sometimes people practice adding more TF, for example to take short on a M5 they want to be sure that trend on M15 and also on H1 is down. So on two upper TF's trend is down and they take positions with it. Ask if you have a any question, dont want to make a lecture here about issues not interesting to you.
