I've been here for 11 years now .. and yes this has been happening here since ever. Vast majority of people here have no idea what they're doing despite the red icon of them being 'high impact'. That doesn't mean a thing, it is a popularity badge. And yet they still post calls, the braver ones also pics. Most people also don't understand the simple concept that probability of price going up or down is exactly 50%, unless it changes (aka edge). And it's up to everyone to find the moment probabilities change and use them and not trade when it's 50:50 (usually during a sideways movement like last weeks).

That said, there were/are some awesome and skilled traders here too.

taking trades based on something an anonymous person says in a chat thread is crazy.
anyone doing that should stop doing that.
you gotta do your own homework and develop your own method that makes you feel comfortable.

Often times i find it best to do my own analysis and make up my mind before coming on here.
Otherwise you will be reactive as opposed to being proactive in your decision making process
