A quick post to touch base and bring you guys up to speed with what’s been going on.
First off, it’s been great to see the thread so lively recently, so thanks to everyone for all the posts.
Behind the scenes, Claudia and I have been talking a lot and for various reasons, we both agree that it is becoming increasingly unlikely that Billy will be returning – at least any time soon, unfortunately.
This includes some between-the-lines communication with our friend Twee at FF home-base, in which he could not divulge any real detail, due no doubt to data protection legislation.
Anyway, as you all know, a lot has changed on the thread over time, the most obvious of which is the fact that nobody really trades the original EJ Daily Break method any more – I think SB is the last to have ventured along that path - and as such we had begun to look at two possible options going forward.
The first – and to be honest the one we would have preferred – would have been to rename the thread and update the opening page. This would have included the caveat that should Billy reappear at any time, the thread would be returned to him immediately and made good.
However, in conversation with Twee, it appears that this is not possible. Only the thread-starter can make those changes and as we said, he intimated that it was unlikely that that was going to happen.
The second option would be to open a new thread.
This would become a fork of the original, taking on board all the up to date stuff, while at the same time always acknowledging the EJ Daily Break DNA.
The old thread would always be there, it will not be binned or archived and I would look to keep it alive by continuing to post there, albeit in a more limited way. I was thinking that perhaps we could look at ways of bringing in a couple of longer time frame methods and keeping it specific to EJ, so continuing the spirit of the original.
I know I have a couple of things that would work there and possibly it could become a place for Turnips’ 5-Pip Range Bars to call home.
If we go down the new thread route, then we would look to keep us in The Commercial Section – it’s nice and peaceful down here and out of the way of the wandering troll population.
I should also mention that Twee is very enthusiastic about the whole idea.
So, there ya’ go.
This has been no spur-of-the-moment thing by Claudia and I. We have both gone back and forth on which would be the way to go many, many, times and so having finally formalised our thoughts – kinda’ – we thought we’d put it out there for any thoughts or input from yourselves.

so sorry i am not much use guys but those are my thoughts, Basically its a very hard Decision, good look to both of you, whatever you decide.
