Talking about boring ... I need to think about why I did not take my setup at the DPP today. In hindsight, it was great. Just did not like the fast drop into it during Franky, did not trust the PA around it ... but then really, the H1 backs my idea and all risk is defined before. What could have gone wrong except a small loss? Gotta pull the trigger on this ...

Now sitting here not really feeling the market, I think my judgement is not the sharpest today ... the mood where I start staring at the chart until I might put on a piker trade.

Will go fishing, review the day later and hopefully catch the pips tomorrow after the fish.

Good idea to walk away if you not in the mood. Good luck with the fish get back later if you can and I'll post the ea when i figure out how to download it.

Box range is always a tricky one. I would venture a guess that one way to go would be to have it set at percentage of ADR for what...that last week? 20 days?

Ah but see, I would say that was a directional definition in a sense. You are looking for price to move and as I said, it doesn't matter which way, just that it does. The lack of volatility inside the range and then an increase out into expansion is simply the engine that drives the direction.

Maybe, lol.

For me, calling a trade basis on volatility would mean that you had a specific indicator to show that volatility.

WTH do I know. My brain is sore today.
