Hi all. Not sure if it has been mentioned already but the Billy bar trade got 5 pips and more this morning on GU. I am beginning to wonder what would happen if we bought/sold when the price hit the trigger on either side of the 8am 15 minute bar, but instead of going for 5 pips, just let the thing take its course. So price breaks the low, we sell, breaks the high, we buy. Kind of like a line in the sand trade. Let it keep going to create a daily high/low (modest daily range). Any thoughts on this? Sorry if my post isn't clear, let me know and I'll try and explain better. Almost like using the 8am 15 minute bar as a pivot point. At some point during the day, price will hit the buy/sell trigger and go for 30/40/50 pips, even if we have a few fails before that happens. Could use a trailing stop as well, so as to not lose decent gains.

Just look at today for example. Price has been below it once for lots of pips and above it once for lots of pips (all of this after 8am UK time).

Ok - the night thingy which I'm going to call 'Simple Dreams' (Lem knows why lol) got the programmer from Munich all ready to go with ea.

Going to let her have the specification tomorrow - anyone got any changes/requests before I do ?

The user will be able to set all options - time, buffer, stop, profit etc.

So it can be used for any breakout - Billy's 15 etc.

Gn8 everyone. That Cable trade still got me thinking how I could have traded it better ... ended up losing 7 pips, fortunately recovered with the slam dunk on UJ + 60 later. But we learn from our losers ...

Hi Claudia, just a few suggestions, only throwing ideas around
min and max box size maybe
Trail stop in pips and brake even in pips, true or false
max number of trades per side of box
allow hedge, true or false.

Thanks. Got most most of that covered as all options will be input by the trader. You select range, time etc.

Suspect he does. Programmers have to be clever - traders have to be smart and there is a big difference !
