There is, however, an alternate scenario that could play out.....

1.1608 - 1.1610 is an area where equal swings occur as shown on chart and it is an LM. This is also an area where daily moving averages may provide some support.

Edit: I forgot to mention that 1.1607 (or 1.15947 depending on the monthly close time you use) is the August LC and 1.1600 is the August NY close. Also, 1.16658 (or 1.16757) was the second quarter LC and 1.1682 was the NY Q2 close.

yes, my scenarios are almost the same.
bearish is 1410
bullish is 1.2

i stick with the bullish scenario for now.
symmetry wise this move is acceptable for a possible butterfly @ 1.2. now both wings look broken.

got more data on the london open thing.

in the past 34 days.
19 times it worked.
15 it didn't.

there was one period it did not work 5 days in a row.
there was one period it did work 7 days in a row.

a few times it did not work it was close in time or price.

this is now a solid addition to my toolbox.

This seems to be true mainly on trending days. Although yesterday they started early, two hours before London Open.
