'Morning, folks. I'll get back to The Monster in a mo. I wanted to post up an observation for I-12 re the Frankenbreak.
FYI, this box is set to run from 00:00 - Close of 07:00 UK time.
After all is said and done, it is up to the individual if they want to take the clean break or the break+close over+retrace+enter tech. You can see both at play here from this morning:
However, over and above that, one thing that I had discovered that proved quite handy, was that if you looked back in time, into the middle of the night, UK time, then obviously the range is tighter. In the chart below, you'll see what I discovered - that very often, price will revisit that level as well, later in the day and this gives additional trade opportunities.
Here, the level is marked by the white cross-hairs. Run it the same way as a pivot or 50-Fib play, look for price to test and be rejected by it, then enter on a pullback.
Ignore the ''Price Target'' lines on that as well, they are just a hold over from the indicator I filched for this. I went for +5. Anything else is jam.

Overall, there were, however, signals suggesting that we were only looking at Short moves.
Circumstances here meant that any early pre-UK Open involvement was out for me and it would have been interesting to see how Pips would have handled it, however at the bell, price began its drop and whadda-ya-know, right into a perfect Daily Wick-Zone entry. That was my in.

A kind of strange time to be riding the DAX's back but it beats twiddling one's thumbs.
Had a micro S+D channel set up (based off 15 min and 5 min charts) and levels of 12363 upper and 12351 lower.
Faded a drop through that and bagged on the bounce (first entry was far too high - my bad). I also didn't get in as low as I would have liked / should have. Again, my bad.
DAX S+D Scalp +1 +8
Price broke above as I bagged but no close over that upper level...
Then a nice, solid, rebound drop back down...
I didn't go in on that - dinner is calling, lol.
Edit: Lunch, that is - sorry, my Scottishness is showing!
All good, though. More than happy with that.
