I thought it was 70%, but my numbers were apparently different on those 3 I mentioned, even at the 70%, not the 80% that you used.
The 3000 volume. Is that from the Myfxbook? The number that are long, since we are taking the short side? I hadn't used the RSI, but will apply that.
And did I read that right that Scorpion has the exact same setups this week as last?

Hi,

At the moment very busy with other things and still have some promises for others to do.
First i must check how to do.

I use MT4, and will not invest time in TV. TV gives me no extra benefits.
I know that TV has more functionality and can produce more elegant/glamerous charts, but that is the only difference with MT4.

Further at the moment i'm not convinced that a strength meter based on XAU gives better results/info.
It is just a matter of taste.

I'm pretty sure I did my reads on Saturday from myfx. That probably accounts for the difference.

Are you following the strat as outlined in the first post or doing your own thing and just using the first post as a guide ?

I certainly like the concept and have bought Dons currency strength indicator though I'm not convinced it's worth the money over Hanover's free one.

At this early stage I'm taking a cautious dip in the water, particularly when it comes to starting trades later in the week than Monday... Have you found later in the week to be more troublesome by any chance ?

I have been entering on H1 the same way as it was explained for entry on D1.

I use over 80% on myfxbook and then I wait on H1 for RSI hlc/3 to cross 70/30. When over 70 I buy when under 30 I sell.

Its hard to say its still in early stage of test but keeping trades longterm has proven a failed strategy.

Degolep. Day one from live account. I always test on a live account, albeit very small to start. Demo account trading is, for me at least, meaningless. I need to feel mistakes cost real money, even small amounts as it concentrates my mind. You also get more realistic prices from the broker.

I'm exiting by the seat of my pants. What is your criteria ? Reversal or change of currency strength ?

@mojotrades,you still trading XAU/XXX ? I read a few of your pass posts,you seem to had a good grasp of it,for some reason I keep coming back to this thread I am pretty sure XAu/xxx trading is the way to go ,I wish neilsdigest would come back !

Hey Nozzer,

Not so much this approach in particular, but in the lost messages of this thread, Neils mentions to pair currencies with gold XAU (XAUUSD, XAUGBP, XAUJPY....)
and notes the percentage change from the 200 ma on the last 4hr candle of the day. I'm trying to figure things out with that approach and align that with my own.
