In reality, you can do what I-12 is doing by looking for Claudia-style contraction of any decent length in that time-slot.

A certain being once summed up a similar approach by saying that you simply looked for a grouping of Opens + Closes at a level and trade away from them.

Yep. You could also have backed when at 1000 last night and layed at 900.

I do remember once backing one of those at 1000 and as it went off like a rocket, it shortened in-running and I was able to trade it out.

I once had access to a computer programme that looked for value (a horse at one price when it should have been at another, for those who don't know one end of a horse from another).

Running it one way, let you lay false favourites, however you could also find value backs. Normally these were 6.0 grade showing at 10.0 or 20.0 or whatever but once, we got a show of a horse that graded as 10.0 that for some unknown reason was available at 1000. That, along with one other selection, was backed for 10.00 ew. It won.

Horses aren't really my thing but I do like numbers and that was interesting - obviously didn't take it.

Right, folks, I'm going to be going.

Have a grand weekend. It's the September Weekend holiday here in Scotland - well, in the West of Scotland anyway - so I doubt I will be on first thing, however I will possibly make it later and will at least look in eventually, even if I am not trading.

Scotland ? I had a pleasant week in the "Trossacks" recently. Fantastic scenery.

Forgot to post up the only Dead Zone that came anywhere near half-decent today. The Supply Zone wasn't perfect but it still had enough of an influence to get the job done. Short Bias.
