Sorry just venting. 90% of "so called experts on all forex news sites are morons. They are all the same, basically momentum chasing people that cant think for themselves. They buy high and sell low, over and over again. If EUR/USD is at 1.13000 they all say we are breaking down to 1.1000. It rallies to 1.1800 and they all say we are going to 1.2400. Very rarely do you hear an analyst/expert say, "We are looking for a pullback of 50-100 pips for a rally up to x. Or "we are looking for a rally up to x, then a pullback of 50-100 pips". They wait for it to bounce 100 pips, then say it is going up another 100 pips. Forex is for sure a "trending" business, but I am just sick and tired of reading all of these analysts. Yesterday one analyst loved the GBP/USD at 1.3300 thinking it is going to 1.4000. Now one comment by May and the same analyst is thinking we are breaking down to 1.26000. They lost 240 pips in one day, and now they think it is going another 400 pips lower. Crazy stuff. The reality is they are not investing their own capital. Surprised they can keep their job.

Thank you ATA for this thread!! It is so nice to have a real forum with intelligent people that can think for themselves. Some days bullish, some days bearish, following trends, being smart, having systems that we follow, just being a prudent trader. We cant always be right, but atleast we have the guts to put money at risk based off what we are thinking with our own brains. Seriously, thank you ATA!! You are a one of a kind and I really appreciate all you do!! Not only do you share your system with all and take tremendous time and effort to teach, but you have the guts to stick with your system and think for yourself.

By the way, I continue to buy pullbacks and expect this to be the strategy for many weeks. Sold 1.1794 this am..........Latest thinking is looking for 1.1716- 1.1728 area to support for a bounce to mid 1.1800s. Good luck all!

H1-M15 Status Update

No signs yet of bears giving up.. New BLUE TL breakout occurred at: 1.1743

However I also see little signs of bulls trying to push back.. very little signs though.. I am still on sidelines.. Skipping this BLUE TL breakout for now.. watching M15 progress..

Thank you very much tommygo, highly appreciate your honest thoughts and kind words.. and very well said: we are "thinking" to begin with and yes we don't like to blindly follow books or gurus or whatsoever academics have put out there may it be true or not..

Think of Aristotheles or Socrates for a second.. these ancient brainiacs have said so many things long long time ago while walking around with a simple piece of cloth on them and literally having nothing else! No software, no technology, no google, no city libraries etc. etc. but they were all thinkers. The brain is all we have guys. It is an enormous technology hidden inside there. All we have to do is make more use of it. Trust it. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and keep believing that YOU too might bring something onto the table that is completely YOURS and what have maybe never been said before. YOU all can do it.

Anyways.. Long story short: We learn, we teach, we care, we share.. let's get better together..

Did you notice that the M5 10 EMA crossing 50 EMA guiding rule would have made you 38 pips up to now after the Triangle Breakout after the London Open? You would still be Short with it.

A very helpful general rule, isnīt it? Now you should never ever again be Long in a market like this - generally speaking.
