Yes, that is hidden divergence...in a downtrend you have to compare bottoms not tops for regular divergence....when you do compare tops in a downtrend and find "hidden" divergence, it means price will break bottom again..and that's what happened in this case.

This was also mentioned yesterday.. Just a reminder.. But too early for assuming that Scenario 1 or 2 started happening.. Best is to stick to H1 chart.. We better go step by step..

correction may be bear enough , other pair still to rest though, limits down 1708/14 intact , important bo level 1720 retest ok , not that rest 1.1635 today though & be pending for nest day . so bull intact for next thrust up ., may LOndon close or so today . so play carefully til she end her journey successfully . she did crazy job & after end journey must be punished for her job , expanding triangle , test 1635 to jump or to crush any level down> next week to watch .take care , fontu

You can NEVER make any BUY or SELL decisions based solely on what happened on the M1 unless you are a fast-in-and-out-scalper.

Divergences on the M1 - taken by themselves - mean a lot only to an experienced fast-in-and-out-scalper.
Only real values: Valid rules, discipline and experience.

H1-M15 Status Update

I marked areas with red arrows where I believe bears will show most resistance!

  1. Check 1: On H1 price went below green but covered back up: Bulls have still the upper hand as long as candles stay above Green line!
  2. Check 2: 1.17605 is previous buy level and candles must close above for further bull strength confirmation.
  3. Check 3: MACD Hidden Bullish Divergence on H1 has been canceled as soon as market printed new lower low: the only thing that distorts the bullish picture!!!!
  4. Only if 1.17335 area breaks we can speak of a revisit to 1.1664 area!!!
  5. I am expecting bulls to try to climb back higher but it might take some effort. Thinking out loud: Maybe next week Tuesday??
  6. M15 is still bearish and we must wait for RED TL breakout to begin buying again.

Could be waiting a while Monty ,, your m5 macd is played out ,, any lower low on price will have a higher macd point ,,, usually breakouts on a daily chart are caused by big boys for a reason ,,really doubt it just rolls over and dies ,,a week ago that would be excellent ,, not so much this week
