In other words, POC square or diamond (elsewhere it's a line or discolored row of letters, depending on the program you use) is where the level of volume is the highest in the Profile. And, the volume is the highest where most activity was conducted within the Value Area (70% of all activities in the Profile). As far as I know signifies ranging in the market.

I am new to this also, so verify everything I say... Take my words as words of inspiration rather than definite knowledge.

So, it looks like there are more TPOs at POC than VPOC. I looked at my chart and really, the market spends more time at POC than VPOC, however, VPOC have higher Volume. POC is time related, VPOC is Volume related, I guess. How could this escape my attention?

So, in the beginning POC builds up and then VPOC separates, but not always. I see it on my chart that quite often they remain on the same level. The question is "does Volume need time to build up?" It certainly needs time to separate from POC.

this is a simple mp with pivots, for quick overview

that was a happy trade to the end, dax has not come over the high volume (pocv)

if you are dealing with it should have an eye on the volume and poc, best mark
