I must be going for some record here ... I nail it in sim mode and then clock out in live mode ... ended at -39 ... on sim tomorrow ... practice practice practice ...

I wasn't going to bother logging in tonight, as i've been busy until late, anyway... took the one trade within seconds of opening charts.

This is exactly what i've been talking about. Trend is Long. Lower trend-line touch coinciding with prior Demand. Nil brainer for me. Has to be worth the risk and i know i will take each and every one that i see when Live...

This method is proving to have quite a considerable improved success rate and also, with generally smaller necessary stoploss too.

It's really simple too, much like your approach.

All we are trying to do is locate the most likely S/D levels to rely on. For you, after market open, the wicks/tails show the way. For me, later on, gentle trendlines often coincide with a prior S/D level...

Nothing is 100%, but i'm generally finding that a 6 tick stoploss is enough for almost all size channel lines, just to afford a little slippage. Beyond that, the trendline is usually broken. Again, experience is a huge ingredient. I will probably need more time to play around with that, but if the trendline looks quite strong, i'm happy to stick to that.

Looking back on a volume based candle chart i see more of what was happening . . . I am still jumping between time, tick, volume and wrestling with simplicity vs detail. On the other hand, i am more profitable than ever, so things are going in the right direction . . . .

Well said ... we know nothing is 100% but most of my losing trades are outside a strong S/D level ... that is what we are practicing, to locate and place our entries within a strong S/D level ...

Traded just for practice and ended at -12 ... wanted to end at +13 just after I caught the 39 tick move but I wanted to practice some more ... I saw lots of opportunities but timing ... eish ...
