I know every trader trades different but I see some guys using the dollar index to base there bias on fact is dollar index should be looked at as a natural bias at the minute as my chart shows its in no mans land, therefor the USD pairs should be traded on there own merit without the use of DXY for a bias. I feel as though people are getting stuck trading noise.

ive been short since 1.1664 on EU

Looks like I'm late to the party so far this morning.

I'm happy staying out of the move for now, rather than knee-jerking into a position.

I'd be happy to take a short if price retraces to 1.1598 - you never know, the New York chaps sometimes like to move price back to where they feel is a fair price for them to get in, before letting the market loose again.

Otherwise, in accordance with how I trade certain levels, I probably won't look to trade this pair until it gets to the 1.1541-1.1527.

That's where I see the next consolidation area.

H1 Status Update

  1. Check 1: Below Green 54 LWMA: Bearish!
  2. Check 2: LO to LO opening line (black) and its clones (dashed black) are ascending with low steep: So it is bearish but bear power is weaker today!
  3. Check 3: Price is below LO to LO trendline: bear power still pushing and no need to close shorts if any!
  4. Check 4: Magnetic target is 1.1562 and I expect H1 MACD divergence to collaborate once price gets there that can make this level either a pause for bears or a bounce back.

took a pot short at 1.15694 when it looks like falling further. now SL at BE to be safe. free trade!! 1.5 lot
loss 100k in Forex, up 1k, still have 99% to go!!

Arrived at magnetic target.. drawing a TL on M5 to look to close my trade after breakout.. if no breakout I keep trailing..

Sorry about leaving that price projection in the way ,, moved off to the side here ,,does it get there today ,,doubtful but probably about 80 pips closer , depending on what hols or folds

Wave B (current wave) target 1.1510. Remember we should be in an ABC formation with target around 1.19 and continuation of uptrend should resume around 1.15

Anything possible I reckon ,,but that is a long ways off for something that averages about 8 pips a day in a trending direction took it two weeks to get to the top from down there ,sometimes the fall can be faster for sure but only 4 days into a down swing
