Since Davit moved the forum to a closed session, I decided to quietly work with the method he was so passionate about, on my own. It was not hard to see the sensibility of entering with small lots, adding at pivot points, weekly sup/res levels and price action around those levels. I didn't use hard stops (did view the trades twice daily to consider adding or closing) since the entries were very conservative. I did close 12-.05 entries today in what I perceive as a healthy take profit level after almost 400 pip move from August 15....(maybe left...

Thanks a lot for this post. You are so very right in this. It is such a pity that Davit's thread is not "open" anymore. 1000x thumbs up for your post Swede!!!

Does any one prefer H4 over H1? Just a general question, still haven’t found the timeframe for me, I use H4 to get in and H1 for exits. Working prevents me from having screen time, so sometimes I am in profit, but markets turn and I’m in the red. Help please

It would be best to enter small lot coz EU is in an accumulation on the H1....price hasnt hit the bigger picture reversal pivots. USDCAD, AUDCAD, AUDUSD,CADJPY and GER30Cash loving Pivots and pure price action and Fundamentals..

Those who followed Davits strategy this week, could have become hell of a lot reacher ! So many set up its crazy. I don't even know which one to grab.

On the the serious note: I was following CAd for all this 3 months of rally. Yesterday, the first signs of slipping start to show, today's GDP another one. I am not saying it is trend reversal but sure it can be money taking correction. On other hand AUD didn't make any significant changes and their economic data keeps falling slowly but surely. In my opinion, take what you can and look for another opportunity next week! I hope you guys having a great time!

Hi R
Lot of folks trading my system don't understand principles behind it.Its not about H4 candles....
Lets start with the philosophy behind my pivot trading.

Took me years to figure out how to beat the market and one way is to outsmart it.How? By wide net fishing. Majority of retail traders are sniper fisherman meaning they cast their poll and wait for a bite for single fish. This is inefficient, time and energy wasted and capital. My method is about net fishing you cast your net around Pivot zones then you wait until it feels with fish and if you didn't get any fish no problem you repeat (there is random element in the markets)
The repetition is about statistics.Out of 300 trades you will have roughly 70-80% winners that's at least my experience.Important factor is you keep doing and allowing the EDGE to work for you!
Lot of rookies try a system and after 5 losses move on to next system then become a lifelong gypsy...until money runs out. I advise stick to what works and make it work for you.Jumping system to system wastes time and capital because any system 5 or 10 trades is not sufficient data to know if it works. You need in hundreds of trades....
About the pivots. Its not about H4 or Daily or Weekly or Monthly candles its about Pivot zones! Entries can be made 15min-h1 H4 is too late you will miss out of lot of movement and by the time you decide to enter the market can reverse.I have full time job and have no issues about trading 15-1hr
Remember having red trades is ok as long as price is within the zone. You must compensate for randomness and patiently wait and why trading ME in small lots are used because price is a moving target never static.
Anyway good luck
