Peso has been overperformed compared to other EM currencies in recent months probably due to expectation of new NAFTA deal and new government...NAFTA deal done..new government is a bit old already..so no more expectation of something which supposedly make things better..all good news out already..maybe thats why overvaluation against USD compared to other EM currencies decrease a bit..my 2 cent speculation i m neutral in UsdMxn..
make your own analysis and decisions..just giving some perspective..

USDZAR

Just bought at 14.18..daily candle looks quite bullish (2hour left candle close)..price above 4h 100 MA which is around 14.15..

Usd index turning up..

I did. I appreciate your post as it reflects my inexperience. Many times I wondered if should just hold, but had no basis for doing so. I forgot about that gap for which you posted. I had been trading correlation to the dollar. MXN was weak.

If the MXN had suddenly strengthened I would have gotten hammered. This trading day was a bad one.
