Many brokers converted to a spread + commission model to make it "seem" like they have low spreads. Add the commission for entry + the commission for exit + the spread to get the real comparison. Also, remember the spread value on the web page is a probably fixed number, a text value. If the spread changes with price, and the web page is not automatically updated, then there might be a difference between the web page and the platform.

Hey Sorry for the late reply.

FXchoice is based in Belize. So I myself would not use them. In the USA there are only 3 FX brokers. Anyone else is either offshore or a IB for one of the other 3.

sorry for my english..
hello..i'm new here.. after reading and studying for 2 months in this forum, now i'm very interested in Forex..
i'd like to go live account.. not much just $5k as a start..my friend told me that fxdd just ok..
could anyone give me some input, if fxdd is good enough? (i mean no stoploss hunt, fake price, difficulty in withdrawal, and chances the broker run away or go bankrupt?)

Does the Oanda trading platform have an option on the order ticket to select position size based on the percentage of my account balance I want to risk on a trade? I've been trading Oanda via Tradingview because that option is very useful. But I want to start using Oanda's platform to place orders because I can customize Oanda's charts in ways that I can't do with the free version of tradingview.

Hello Oanda Team

Im not able to make new trades anymore on my MT4 and I have been getting this message:

"Trade could not complete due to no new position NOT allowed on account [migrated account]"


Do I need a new account?, how do i get a new account that works?

This facility seems to no longer work properly. Forex.com and other accounts are connecting and up

Chat won't work either

They're at it again - always at important times
the oanda server is down for at least 20 mint!!! everting is disconnect !!!!!!! the web page, the mt4, the Java platform .... all gone~!!!! is there any one meet the same issue like me?? I am sure my VPN works well. my account still has open position and is totally out of my control. that is so fucking horrible ~!!!!!!!!

This is consistent with them and it is redundantly suspicious. I'm not the type of person though, but it's become all too uncanny over the years.

5 seconds is too long in fx trading. Their chat servers are still down. Horrible

Never have open positions without a stop order during periods of easy money with this broker.

Been on hold for over a half our to get an explanation no answer still

Lost 13 pips on a position while this all happened
Just got off the tele and the little young lady says it was due to an upstream service provider, whatever that means....

And oh look, it's all down again

Upstream service provider. That's someone further up the river who is providing the content/data to Oanda.

One fortunate fact is: today various options are available in front of the forex traders so that diverse traders can choose their medium as per their trading requirements.
