I think about it.. actually I am going to hold those shorts. if I don't get profits today....since by Monday. 8am est. it will be 60 running hours for H1 uptrend.. 60% chance to reverse its uptrend within 24 hours.. Tuesday 80% chance.... I am playing for time stop for those positions......

just got COT.. institutions continue to short the Euro.. I will post my analysis soon..
first time since May 2017 they had negative net positions in Euro...which also means,, they are starting to sell Euro now...

I don't like it.. the day did make the higher close... but missed the week.. be careful with this week ending.

How Institutions Position Themselves In Euro/Usd This Week

This week, institutions added long positions also added 2 times short postions , which was shown in the latest COT as of Tuesday, Aug 14, 2018.

The institutions net long Euro positions decreased last week by 12,354 contracts to negative 1,789 contracts, Institutions had built their net long positions since 5/9/2017. This is the first time they turned net negative , they now have became sellers from 8/14/2018

10,505 long positions were added, and 22,859 short positions were added as well . Now Longs total 188,428 contracts vs shorts total 190,217 contracts .

50% long exposure vs 50% short exposure, which 2% decreased in longs and 2% increased in shorts from the previous week

The week Euro started at 1.1598,rallied up to 1.1628 high,started its sell off, moved down to 1.1330 low, and closed at 1.1343 on 8/14/2018

Longs being added at low end 1.1300s and more shorts being added at 1.1600s level, which indicates they prepared Euro to move lower

We see after COT report, Euro broke lower to long term support at 1.1300. then it came with shorts covering, it rallied up to 1.1444 high Friday today.
If this continues, the next resistance level is 1.15-1.16

Long Term Bearish . and Short Term Bearish .

Please note institutions take weeks and months to build a position in the currency market. For Euro, they have started to build their net short positions since 8/14/2018.
Therefore, the bearish sentiment is more for long term outlook, not intended for short term trading.
