You will get different input from different traders here. Find out what works for you and write it down. What needs to happen for me to enter a trade? Where do I put my SL? Where do I go to BE and start tailing? What determines the main swing? At what time do I want to trade? etc. Come up with an answer to all your questions. I personally try to keep it as simple as possible.
After writing down your plan put it to a test.
Finally you have a plan that works and is easy to stick to.
Now it's time to master the plan.
Because of sticking to one strategy and my rules consistently my trading has improved a lot.

Kayjay2011 , I am not profitable down to one reason as what I see, getting expectation failure trade
another possibility was no entry on swing ( shallow correction / dint reach 38.20 )
the limit order / reading to entry was not much a big factor as if expectation playout I will be profitable
still training myself to get " the right swing "
you see if you tell me get all the swing , I would say a lot people here just trade a few swing a day yet most of the time they will get the success swing. The problem for me atleast from my view was not " not trading all the swing " but " getting the right swing " maybe improve skill on filtering was the thing I need to do now
expectation 70% but some no entry due to various reason and complexity of order flow make me trade the wrong main swing , as I posted few post above. These reduce the rate of success by human technical error, expectation still playout 70% after all.

What do you mean by "the right swing"?
Focus on your own trading and follow your rules. What works for me is knowing what trades I am gonna take before even looking into a chart. What I mean by that is that I only enter trades that fit my trade plan. If it turns out to be a loser, who cares? As long as I know my plan works long term and I am profitable at the end of the month.
Sometimes I only end up taking one trade a week. Other times I take 2-3 trades a day. Instead of worrying about "getting the right swing" I focus on what my plan says. I look at price and when I find an entry that's in-line with my rules I will take it.

The way I view it is that the blue swings are the IOF and the brown swings are the short term OF. You are going long here, while you should be looking for shorts when trading the IOF.
Your succes rate is now approx. 30% which is why you are on the incorrect side of the expectation all the time.
I'm not sure I would enter "LONG" on EURUSD at that price, its still on a downward move....Actually to me that was a good price to go short, but I missed it.

fact : I do always choose the wrong swing
by looking at the line I draw , I must admit I do use length/range of trend to decide swing , I prefer a more harmonic range as a swing only when swing go complicated ( shallow correction /extended projection )
