So at this point the CAD is stronger then the GBP... Even though it is too early to tell the strength/Weakness yet.

No, they won't buy or sell for example GOLD/CAD but cross them to work out what is the strongest/weakest currency.. It is a better way of doing it and not against other currency's.

An indicator that does it in real time can be made for MT4 but only for OANDA as they have all the GOLD pairs. You can watch it then in real time and see how it slows and changes direction. Pullbacks etc. But I don't use MT4, only for testing things. I have a script for tradingview but as I'm still away I can't use it.. So just leave the XAUCAD + XAUGBP chart up and can see the percentage when I get a chance... Nice moves earlier today again.

That's how big boys work. They work on one pair... Why trade millions of pairs a day - There is no need. When you can just trade 1. It it goes against you Like sometimes they will. That's forex.. No changing charts. No changing timeframes.

Last Friday GBPCAD - Monday GBPCAD - Tuesday GBPAUD. Today (Wednesday) GBPCAD. Thursday - No Idea till had some sleep.

But people ask me. OK you know the GBP is weak. The CAD is strong. Why not trade other pairs with the GBP and CAD. WHY? More risk if the currency goes against you quick and I work with high lots depending on the risk. 5 - 10 Lots a time. So as they do, I keep to two currencies and pair it.

I'll be home in a day. Can't cope with this mega heat wave.

P.S Don't rely on the INDEX charts in tradingview in the Asian session as they close. No data updates.

The XAU/AUD at this time is +0.16 - It isn't moving much with the GBP but the GBP/CAD is slightly down
The XAU/EUR at this time is +0.08 - It isn't moving much with the GBP

The XAU/JPY is -0.18 - All percentages when written so don't rely on them. You need the real time data.

Good job I was watching them though.... Got a drink as still cant sleep and this happened.. I might go buy a desert island now ;-)

I have tried woking on on flow, what i realized is that all i can determine is where the "smart money"'''''''''has been.'.'.'for examp'le, if let say on monday g/cad was the bigest mover, it is not guaranted to be the biggest mover on tuesday, is there a way to determine what will be the biggest mover for tuesday when you come to trade on tueday..thank you in advance..

myfxbook API is very valuable source of additional info one would never know about. I'm using their Community Outlook JSON service and got to some interesting finding.
Let me bring your attention to ratio of avg. account profit vs avg. account Loss (see below community outlook generals for these two fields)

"averageAccountProfit": "18,514.13",
"averageAccountLoss": "-8,059,597,034,919,642",

with emphasis on the fact that community outlook calculation is based on sttaus of real accounts.

The average account profit is worked out by dividing the total profits made (gains in total by all systems, not net profits) by the number of current systems.
The average account loss is worked out by dividing the total profits lost (losses in total by all systems, not net losses) by the number of current systems.

FX Spot is really profitable for market makers assuming that Myfxbook is used by small retail speculators/traders

Now just because I have put buy/sell (chart below) doesn't mean when it gets there you buy and sell the currency.....

Last night the GBPCAD was falling but then the money flow into the CAD from the GBP was drying up.... No big selling off the pound and no big buying of the CAD...
The CAD on the WCU and Index charts where at the top. Hitting the roof as I say and the GBP was at the floor... Well through it.. Something had to give..
To many sellers in the GBP and not enough buyers.... To many buying the CAD and not enough sellers. Prices get to valuable for them to pay.

The more it goes through the floor-roof the bigger it reverses.... As you have seen today wit the GBP. It took its time but did it in the end. Just figuring out when but it makes it easier watching the strength/weakness of the CURRENCY - Notice currency and not a pair.

Last night after I posted the price of the GOLD/NZD it still moved up and still rising.

They stopped selling the GBP and started dumping the NZD after news. The Gold/JPY was falling fast so my guess was that was what they where buying.... NZDJPY sell (as posted last night around 2/3am Europe time the GOLD/JPY was at minus 0.18% - The Gold/NZD shot up to plus 0.50 in minutes.. Even though in most parts it was news related they sold the NZD and brought the JPY.

Ok retail way...... NZDJPY SELL order ;-)

They just go from one currency to another.
As the GBP was mega well oversold (I hate that saying as no such thing) But it was at a mega low point and there will not be enough big sellers to make it drop more..

The GBP was at its floor with gold - the WCU and when paired with USD - CAD etc.
If they stop selling the pound naturally the prices will rise. E.G GBP/CAD
One big profit taking in one go..
Take them profits and just plow it into another currency..

It's nearly impossible to tell what they are going to do but there are signs with watching how gold moves with a currency and by watching the WCU or just the currency Index.

With tradingview though the indexes close for most of the Asian session.

Now the NZD has hit the floor it will slow down... Pullbacks etc, a reverse or it will just hang around a certain price.. Thats when you profit take as you can usually before they do..

Anyway I have to go and catch a flight home soon but will try and explain properly as this was just a mad dash post LOL..... I do write at lightning speed... (So ignore the errors ;-)
Not sure if said this already but now the NZD has bottomed.. The money flow into it will slow down or stop or it will rise (The NZD index) before either falling again or rise like the GBP has today..
Sorry for going on and hope you understand... Its even beyond me sometimes but they have multimillion pound computers to do it for them.
We can try and follow them and see what they are doing just by using GOLD and the WCU or index charts.

So it was my guess that they where in the NZDJPY and selling it BIG....

I think it's in this thread somewhere that in the Asian session they will only work with three Currencies..The JPY - the AUD and NZD - They will pair one of those currencies with either the JPY - The GBP or the EUR... So the NZDJPY looked the best.

I'll edit this post to clean it up and try and explain better when I get a chance.

When we start looking at XAUAUD,XAUCAD etc... the percentages could oscillate, going below zero-coming back to zero and rising above zero and so forth...

is there a minimum percentage that the XAUAUD,XAUCAD etc has to touch sort of like a validating condition before we consider it?

To others, as Neil said, for quick glance Gold Percentages are available under trading view {add them under watch list}. Also, the values are also available with investing.com website, where we have to add
values XAUAUD,XAUCAD etc.. under "Portfolio"

Warning though: The values seem to be differing between these sources
