The error of order select is normal. All pairs are ok for testing.
The most profit should come from volatile pairs. GBPNZD,EURNZD, GBPJPY,EURAUD,EURCAD,GBPAUD,GBPCAD

The default for MinDistanceBetweenTradePips is 40 pips. You might want to play around with that a Bit to see which brings most profit.
Also the stop loss is based on the account cash upl. That is all orders cash are totalled if the total loss exceeds $50 close all. It is an external input called CloseAllLoss.
You can change that also to see what is most profitable and optimal.

A minimum of three months will be needed to compare the performance of both EA's.
Because it takes quite some time for the market price to reach the positions in which the EA's open trades.
Last week monthly pivot was slow but today its off like a rocket. Where as swing catcher last week did well but today its
only has two positions opened. its a swing saw a see saw merry go around

I made a backtest of the ea MonthlyPivotPos_v1 and it was good profit factor.
I show. I think it is light ea to make forword test in real. not very risky.
what do you think about it?

I am now backtesting SwingCatcherPos_v1 too. Will see how it goes last 6 months eur usd 1m
will post the chart.

I made backtest of swingCatcher_pos-v1 too. it is good profit.
but 6 months backtest is very little. it makes average 5 operation a month
and the other ea makes average 5 operations a week so.... it must be done a backtest
of at least 10 or 20 years to understand if it is good.... but i have not the history data... so...
only forward testing can tell the answer.

Thank you so much my friend. We now need to do forward test.
Remember these EA's have also equity stop loss which is better than pips stop loss.
The default equity stop loss is $50.

I agree forward test will help. Also remember that Peaky on steroids in stevehopwoods site has been tested for one year by gertjan and he has proved
that trading the sixths of a 4 hour chart is successful. The difference here is that I have added a filter of pivots.

The beauty of the EA also is it is able to trail euity. SO that during a ranging market it collects a small profit and during a trending market it collects a ginormous (big) profit. Unfortunately back test do not show draw down nicely and that is why we need back test. But also stop loss at least is there to make risk less

Candy I closed all trades my real account for esma rules... can i trust you putting my real account your eas
for default setting? 50 loss is not too big loss... in my 6 months baktst it resulted good profit all 2 eas.
can i leave the default setting for both and put my real account without danger?????
I now have about 12.000 eur account.

Ok for now i have placed the monthly_pivot_pos_v1 ea in a demo account of about 9700 eur.
I multiplied all setting by 10 lotsize 0.1 stoploss 500 ect... will see how it goes...
Did assign a magic number. I am not sure both ea's can go together because all 2 ea's are lookiing to equity
and if an ea is in draw down it can close all o perations also of the other ea... so i am testing only 1 ea....
will see how it will go. the setting is attached

Hi Ezios, about trusting, if there is i have learnt in forex trust nobody. You have to do the home work and then when you happy take the plunge. From what i understand you are able to read code. So you at least you are able to read the EA which I offer the open source code. Which is a sign of some level of openes on my part.

in fact Candy i put it in demo account. I read the code and seems to me that cashupl is computed by seeing each position opened
I supposed with the magic number = the magic of the setting. if it is so, any ea is indipendent from the other and i can
run both together because every one is computing his own positions. it is so? confirm me and i will put the other
ea together in test with the same demo account and same setting.

By assigning Magic Number it will base equity on the equity traded by that Magic Number. If swing Trader POS has $50 equity loss it will close swing trader and not Monthly Pivot POS.
For the EA's I am testing I am using a trade manager. I do not know if you should do so for POS because the focus is more on individual pairs hitting target and it also has trailer for each pair. Anyway I am uploading here the trade manager which i use default

This is corrrect. The EA is independent when if you change the magic number from zero.
