i have been thinking about the accumulation/consumption topic that was introduced not too long ago.

my understanding is that
accumulation = short bars, almost as if crawling in the opposite(or expected) direction
consumption = bars with strength, moving with ease in the opposite(or expected) direction

is my understanding correct?

Short for trading exhaustion expectation

confluence ( before break high price )
1. Price reacted strong at resistance area
2. Current price were at resistances area ( top )
3. Weak NSH
4. Price momentum was weak compare to the down swing
5. This was still in range of complex correction of the down swing

not good = price accelerated upward , the last correction before break was weak

Not exactly, I know I have to make a lesson on this. Sorry for the delay on this. Small candles into areas of S/R is how absorption present it self. Large candles = accumulation. When you see this take over distances with less candles this is strength. 100% corrections but with more candles = consumption. This means breakdown in order flow the the correcting party trying to make a move weakening the driving party.

Keep at it and you will be there sooner than you thing. A complex correction is just that a complex correction of a main swing. When I refer to complex PA it mean multiple swings into the area. It covers a larger scale as a whole the longer term.

Great answers Traders, basically all your answers point to loads of confluence into an exhaustion area that price should respect. Price has found some strength from God knows where to climb higher. I don't think it is sustainable at this rate and we will see our correction soon. We have just completed a second AB=CD to the up side and we should see the sellers more active.
