Just to be clear, we did not pay thedrrew!In all seriousness though, the response to our server move has been overwhelmingly positive, with the biggest difference being a noticeable change in execution speed. As far as I can tell, this VantageFx (in its current form) is a bucket shop. They carefully dodge important questions, or answer in a very politically correct way.
There is no 30 second delay of any trade execution. They cannot provide proper post-trade reporting because they are warehousing the trade.
You think 30 seconds is bad? Check out this guy that had almost 3-5 min delays at some point:

You cannot just cancel trades unless they are being warehoused. If they were truly being 100% stp-ed to a Prime of Prime provider, that would be impossible as it would have been cleared in a "real" ECN environment and could not be reneged. They could issue compensation, but that is a separate transaction, after the fact.
The only reason I can think of as to why some traders put up with this is because they just don't know any better. And they rely on this ignorance to keep the losses flowing. If you continue to trade with these conditions, you will eventually lose most or all of your deposit.

Vantage keeping their main trading servers in Australia was basic IT mistake. All legit brokers keep their trading servers where the action is: NY4, LD5 or very close-by. But in any case, at least that was one thing they did correctly.

I experienced the same. At one moment it I thought it was the best trade of my life, and this broker was the best broker I could ever had. I scalped hard during the volatile price movement. All changed when I saw my daily summary that the sum a made over the 2 hours riding the NFP news went into the drain. I lost USD200,000+. Vantage provided justifications and the manager called to explain the issue. I can say nothing much but to accept the fact.
