I am intrigued and cautiously optimistic about a new (new to me at least) broker offering the MT4 trading platform, seemingly tight spreads, $500 minimum account, mini accounts with decent leverage, hedging, none of the recent spate of USA regulatory nanny-state "we know what's good for you as a retail trader" nonsense or other interferences in my private business decisions.

They call themselves inovaTrade and are claiming customers in over 100 countries.

They are billing themselves as being (quoting their website here) "Based in Panama, land of confidentiality, They are saying that they place great importance on individual’s rights and therefore appl(y) strict professional ethics."

There are no additional commissions charged other than that built into the spread. Spreads seem remarkably tight.

They have offices in Panama City, Miami, FL, the UK and Hong Kong. They report that they are regulated by the Panamanian Stock Exchange Commission.

While English is not their primary language, I have had both online chat and phone contact conversations with them in English with no difficulty. They have hired competent bi-lingual (English and Spanish) and other languages are spoken by staff.

They are claiming that they have 73 servers for their live traders and that those servers are located in NYC. When I commented that was a lot of servers for a five year old company and asked if that was actually their interbank partner connections, the company representive at their listed phone number replied no, that is our server count for customer connections. They report 26 bank feeds for their STP/ECN quotes.

They are not a market maker in the sense of taking the other side of your trade (no desk dealing execution). They pass the trades through directly to the interbank network which they claim is some 26 banks. The rep provided me with a partial list of those banks.

They state that there are no time limits with their demo accounts.

You can denominate your account in USD, GBP, EUR, CHF, and JPY which is really pretty cool if you don't want to be tied to the sliding USD.

I would be interested in having others contribute here who would have queries of their own or who would have factual knowledge to share with the trading community.

On line reviews are scant. Two satisfactory reviews at 100Forex Brokers http://www.100forexbrokers.com/revie...ngs/inovatrade
Nothing found on Forex Factory Forums, Forex Peace Army or Forex 4 Noobs or at other less well known forex broker rating services.

I could not find any other domains hosted on their IP address.

The purpose of this thread to build on this knowledge base about this forex dealer and to exchange factual information about them and their services. This FFF user is not affiiated with, nor employed by, nor do I receive any compensation from them for any purpose. My interest in them is solely to use this forum to more fully vet them as a possible data and trade order interchange provider.

these guys have been in business to the institutional trader since 2005. With the coming CFTC changes and how they will effect the retail trader they decided to open the doors to the little guy.

You have true STP execution/spreads and performance.
They bought an established 18 yr old company for the bridge to MT4 and I could not be happier.
commissions are $15 per million or $1.50 round lot traded, this is a special price for 90 days to go up to $30 or $3.00 after.

they are everything I have looked for in an MT4 broker.

zero complaints so far.

Tmac, your comments are pretty much in line with what I have been discovering.

One peculiarity (on the MT4 platform at least) at the end of last week was that there was no data flowing for most of the AUD pairs. The tick charts were just vacant while other broker charts were moving normally. But that is the only aberration I have seen so far.

As I said I am cautiously optimistic. They do appear to be the real thing.

I appreciate your contribution here. Thanks.

Since you live in Panama, you can pay them a visit, unless you are an employee of this broker and this thread seems like a clever commercial.

Well voster, since this thread is entitled inovaTrade Broker Discussion, my comment about the lack of some AUD data was in regards to InovaTrade.

watube, if you will bother to read my posting that started this thread, I made it clear that I have no relationship to them of any kind (anticipating some sort of rude remark) and I felt I made that perfectly clear. Snide comments rarely advance the conversation. I am simply looking for anyone who has had trading experience with them and who is willing to share that experience with others here.

Personally, with brokers as well as posters on this forum, I do not assume the worst until the person/company shows me a side of themselves that I was not anticipating. I am starting out assuming that InovaTrade is what they have represented themselves as.

It is now appearing that they have years of successful relationships and service with institutional customers and are now branching out to retail customers. Frankly, I welcome some professionalism in this area of forex trading. That is not a clever commercial. It is a comment from a hopeful trader looking for some broker relief.

Was that clear enough for you?

You know, I am starting to realize it just may not be possible to have a sane and mature dialogue on this forum.

But, I will be patient with the ankle biters and wait for some more sensible entries on this thread to see if any are forthcoming.

I dont let them bother me, maybe he should have ask about that but...like some have a need to trade others have a need to ridicule and it makes them feel big or better

when you do not have a retail client base you have no need for a webpage, a webpage is a marketing tool and nothing else, institutional traders have no need for this and hence no website.

lack of knowledge is nothing new and neither is posts like the above.

a simple call to the company gets you all the information you need

IF YOUR LOOKING AT THE NEW RECORDS REGISTERED SINCE OCT LAST YEAR TO MARCH THIS ONE

FXCM CHANGED THE NAME

TO FXCM HOLDING TO SPLIT FUNDS

FROM FOREX MARKETS CAPITAL LLC

THIS HAPPEN ALWAYS

guess they too use the tooth fairy

because the US regulations they changed from INOVATRADE GLOBAL INC to INOCAVATRADE US INC INOVATRADE PANAMA TO SPLIT FUNDS

Thanks Tmac, that was my understanding as well.

What I had hoped for in this thread was a way of interacting with others who had actual dealings with InovaTrade. I have already done all of the other due diligence including calling their offices in Panama City (about a 7 hour drive from my home).

But opportunities to interact with other traders who have actual experience with a given broker are a little more difficult to come up with, except through forums such as this one. It really doesn't work to ask a broker for those kind of contacts, hence the reason for this thread. I just need to put on my hip-waders when I come in here and carry my anti-venom kit like I do when I go into the jungle.

Forex Factory really needs to issue mosquito nets for the gnats on here.

Likely b/c no one has ever heard of this shop before. I've been trading FX for quite some time and this is the first I've ever heard of them.

They're basically an unknown broker, doing business out of a tax haven with zero regulation and/or fund protection/segregation, and they make some rather dubious claims on their homepage ("5 years experience", "largest ECN", the latter of which is laughably false).

I'm not sure why anyone would ever choose to trade with them given the number of regulated alternatives globally.

I wasn't questiong the financial soundness of the country of Panama, I was questioning the financial soundness of entrusting one's capital with an unregulated broker doing business there.

they are regulated.

FXLQ ring a bell? regulated in the USA with glowing recommendations and a sound management..investors got back .30 on the dollar after lawyers

renko and others regulated right here in the good ole USA went belly up taking millions from customers, investors got back .15 on the dollar

If you do not like them then by all mean AVOID them at all costs but do not throw out "facts" when you really do not know them.
