Is there any chance to backtest the EAs? I mean avoiding the annoying non-gap message with init failed.

My Renko trading EAs are programmed to work on non-gap and rail-to-rail Renko charts.

This method works fine but I use another method based on real ticks.

Thank you. I implemented what you wrote and now I see that backtest on your method and by RenkoCSV indicator are different. Renko in memory became real and EA always sucks. Can you help, how you implements indicators on Renko array in memory. It is not secret with MA - we have iMAonArray method, but on others, like adx or heiken ashi ? Thank you for your answer.

Ive always liked Renko charts and found nice ways of catching long trends but sideways markets would destroy all the nice gains. Are there any posts in here that discuss how to avoid this?

Anyone here using Renko charts successfully and profiting?
Also what Risk/Reward/Ratio and Win-rate do you guys have using Renkos?

For the indicators that there exists no iXXXonArray() function, you need to implement them as functions yourself...

Good day MathTrader7.

I have put together the system below from indicators I have found, I included the indicators and the templates.
I follow the buy and sell arrows in the "Oil Arrows" indicator to enter a trade on the Renko charts(I use the renko creator from your feed). The system works well on 30M timeframe, but renko charts gives me a better entry, so I follow the trade on candle stick charts as well to get the best exit opportuny.

The system can be trade by only using the "Oil Arrows" Indicator, because if you decide to have a look you will see that there are some losses but a win is quite large as you can see from the "Candles" and "Renko" jpegs.

If you like this system please let me know how it can be improved or even automated.

In the attached picture there is a trade that I did not take(form entry to exit arrow was 200 pips) , because it was 2am here, that is why I think the system will work as an automated system or even if there was alerts on the arrows.

mathtrader 7, im trying to put your MathTrader7_RenkoVdubEA.exe all versions on an offline chart and have followed all your instructions, but the EA would not stay on the chart. its a new mt4 version. can you suggest any tips? any other versions? thank you
