LMAO wonder what system sold it on Thursday.. Won't mention no names... :-)

Good trading day even though Japan has a national holiday today. Watch the USD/CHF it hit the sell zone on Friday. Not had a chance to check on the myfxbook.

Update later ;-)

I see you a magic.. The candle dxy-jxy go down but the % is up. You say wait till % down even though candle down dxy-jxy but usd/jpy going to your sell level. I see now how you do it. Genius way my friend. Did I not suppose to tell anyone. It good as candle going down saying it will go down but wait till % down. Easy method ever. I not member of tradingview but use candle daily. I use profits from xau/usd you gave me today. This how he do it.. Hope he don't mind. dxy-jxy candle is going down but the % is rising cause usd/jpy rising but index going...

Morning Neil/Slovak,

Requesting some clarity on this % calculation before entering trades.
To my understanding this is what i got.

1. Before entering our contrarian trades, its also beneficial to watch the index % to go down (DXY-JXY) to buy the USD/JPY?
What percentage threshold works best, anything +/- 50%? (Slovak's screen capture example was -.75%)

SELL Example: USD/JPY
Along with our outlook from myfxbook, we should monitor DXYJY, when this become +, (JPY getting stronger), then it would confirm our short.

2. Neil, could you help me clarify how you determine such buy/ sell zones accompanied by time?, you mentioned to watch U/CHF to hit sell zone on Friday, is this based on your estimation?,

Please clarify if i have this mistaken.
HUGE THANKS to ALL

(Been Long on U/J, since last week - will post today's trades once i get home)

Cheers Team

Slovak's screen capture example was plus 0.75% - So it was a good buy for the contrarian trade but the dxy-jxy candle was down.

The DXY-JXY is a candle chart with the DXY and JXY in one chart. It adds the DXY and takes away the JXY.

I will explain when I get a chance.... Here is the latest chart and percent... Even though the candle was down on the dxy-jxy the percent was up. So go down if you get -0.50% or if candle up. Buy if percent is +0.50%

From then on it was down and is still down...

Hello MKB1272,

thanks for the screen shots, i guess for me in hindsight it looks simple and easy enough to have bought ALL NZD trades, and sold CHF, JPY, and USD based on the above pics, however what do you enter or exit using the tool before the major push has occurred?

I know your still testing, but just wondering what early flow would look like rather than when major move has already occurred.
EDIT: I had a GBP/CHF contrarian trade that is my best one, the meter does support that trade, but wondering about how early of a 'notice' you received from NZD that it was about to shoot up.

Cheers.

Hello Mojotrades,

It is not simple at all, I just closed my NZDUSD sell trade this morning. It was based on the oulook and the Don strength meter (+Scorpion). So I was a bit surprised to see the strenght had changed completely. I only watch the charts twice a day, so any major change in flow would be noticed late.

Normaly I would exit arround supply/demand levels or the HLC3 on TradingView, but in this situation I used the strenght meter.

There's one thing ive been meaning to ask Neil but kept forgetting.

Neil at what percentage shall we leave a trade if sentiment starts to reverse after you get in? 68% percent? 65? etc.

Thanks.

Hello Denondj87,

I believe Venividivici was implying the optimal exit point once we enter.
Your statement is correct for entry purposes.

It could be he holds the trades until the d1 rsi 2hlc3 turns the other way.
