Pivot Trading

I have been following Davit's ideas for years, and this has worked for my learning and my consistency.
I joined here at the forex factory in Jan 2009, when I was 51 years old. Today I'm 60 and I'm still learning a lot.
If the davit is not here, I'm going to follow him wherever he is because I agree with his ideas.
We're starting another week. How about we start over and talk only about what matters here, what is to study this PIVOTs trading system and help each other? Cheers!!!

I guess you totally missed my point. As rarely as I post I wouldn't even bother posting now if I didn't stick to him. Davit, this is perfect example of an early exit, as you could see from where the trade is today, the man with experience, & wisdom would have stayed in the trade and added to his position however I didn't. Live and Learn, eh?

I'd be willing to sell the CJ off of the R38 level with a target just below S78 there is a missed weekly pivot just beneath the S78 at 83.6003 This is the time of year of Yen appreciation. Two other trade plans of the week for me would include buying AU and NU after some potential retracement somewhere down to the weekly pivot level then back up.

Suggestion ... instead of saying Davit should do this or that ... maybe ask him what he wants to do?
Will he continue here if the same negativity continues or does he want to start his own forum.
Believe me, having owned/operated a web hosting business for many many years, constructing and managing your own forum takes a lot of work and there are significant costs involved whether it be monetary or the significant time that is required, regardless of whether they can be offset by advertisers.
Davit has probably already thought about all this and he, I am sure will make a decision that is in his and his family's best interests so perhaps instead of debating back and forth what you think he should do ... leave his decision to him. I am sure he will let you all know what he decides.
As far as the IRS is concerned, FF state:
Forex Factory has no financial relationship with members, and doesn't request personal information from members. The only information required for membership is a username and a working email address. "
Without personal information the IRS would not be able to find out who the FF Member is other that by a IP trace which would require a Court Order and I doubt if the IRS is going to waste resource based on anyone's baseless report without the production of verified financials which would be impossible to obtain.

he dont need own website for this,the method is CLEAR in post 1. who get it ... good. who dont ,then move on and get some more experience in trading before lose all the money.is sad he got slaughtered just because he wanted to maintain one thread clear and out of the chaos of making everyday forex basics class with newbies.
said in post 1 this method need at least 2 years experience.in fact trading forex need a lot of damn experience.
if i will be him i will delete this thread post1 content who got it till now will be doing fine like me and many others around.this place dont deserve this good quality content. the silly commercial area i think is enough for this place. sad ... but true.

Hello traders,

stop talking about current situation here and FOCUS ON TRADING. Thats the reason, why this thread exists. And mainly, Davit knows best what he is doing.

We have plenty of macro-geo-political events this week, dont let them surprise you.
I closed my trades on USDCAD since TARGET 1 was attained (1200 pips in this case).

(Hopefully a good) suggestion: Davit please open a skypegroup with the followers and traders which u aloud to be part of the group. I am hoping (and almost praying) that Davit will continue with his excellent strategy.

Nice trade, congratulations, sold around 1.3316 was it, held on for a couple of weeks, very good

This is where the multi week Pivots come in handy to remember where price was when you entered, unless you get a screenshot of course.

And helps to zoom in a bit when sharing, that's maybe just my opinion, good luck

0.75 is the average daily range, so many will be shorting there, pivot or no pivot IMHO

Read the rules

TDI is our friend.When price hit major pivots we wait for TDI to turn thus confirm the move. Sharp angles important when its almost horizontal PA is weak or consolidating thus avoid trading.PA is king always!


TDI has NOT confirmed for me so i wait. There will always be plenty of opportunities.
dont be naive. davit is a great money manager AND thread manager. he got rid of trolls successfully for 2 years now.
after his 2 years track record i guess some trading companies/hedge funds got his attention and made him some offer to trade a fund.

i have done this years ago and i can say you davit, if you read this, its a completely different story to manage funds from other people than trading your own funds&risk.
well, on one side its a nice challenge and you can "earn" a lot more in short time.
on the other side you loose your independency and freedom.
i would never do it again.

beside loosing your independency you need to think different because trading 100k than 10mio and more needs different trading strategies&skills for example "hunt the retail traders" or their stops;-)

anyway, i wish you the best and hopefully you are back and continue your good work in this thread!

I know that you and I know nothing.
I think that all of us should at least stop posting charts on this thread in solidarity with Davit`s decision.
This is a protest against FF managers, we should not provite trading content for FF until the things are not resolved and Davit comes back. After all, it`s his thread, not ours.
There is a lot of cotent in 1076 pages for anybody who wants to trade this system, it`s not a problem if everyone will keep his trades for him for a while.

Without traders like Scott Carney, Davit and a few others, FF will be poorer and less quality will be found here in the future. Also I think that more good traders will leave as the haters will look for new targets.

I`m sure that things will not remain as they are now, and FF will do the right thing.
