The guy you are quoting once posted an image of him trading 10 lots with little over $3k. He is the one who maybe doesn't understand risk management.

Who says one must use a stop loss? Some people hedge successfully over and over again (though I'm not in this category).

Hedging? Who is hedging? Not to mention hedging only locks in your profit or loss as you make your broker rich on extra commission. If am green i close, if i am red I close also. No need to hedge or do any of those fallacious trading behaviors you speak of. Those who trade using hedges meerly have a particular bias in mind which is why they would lock in profit or loss and o nce they feel the extension or reversal will continue they then close out the hedging position to continue accumulating the pips they earned.

would look just a bit lower , last weeks high at 1720 ish ,, probably dribble back to there between now and into next week , really the last level it worked to get thru with a whole gaggle of stuff to work thru at the last high with the important stuff being the W R 1 and the quarterly level ,,, time will tell .
