Those top areas look crispy with alot of money to be cleaned out.

Nice work.. Nice and simple does the trick.. Glad you read the other thread.. It all comes together in one powerful method and not much screen time. Who wants to read charts all day. P.S Sounds weird but when the USD is weak the USD/WCU will rise.

I don't check myfxbook now as stopped trading. Taking a few years off for other things..

The XAU/USD won't make the magical 1% though.

when does the Myfxbook link that shows XAUUSD change days? It's 2.5 hours into the July 4th trading day and the XAUUSD link is still showing 7/2/18. At what time will it switch and when should we start trading the "next day" for the "day after 1%" strategy?

It uses New York time - 21:00 will be the close of day for the XAU/USD

It might make it yet..

Happy independence day Well tomorrow... IS New York closed tomorrow? It might change things if it is.

Sorry not been around much. Got so much going on with different things and get banned from the computer ;-)

P.S I see what you mean now checking again. It's still on July 2nd... Dates are off but that is still todays XAU/USD

Hi Neil,

My broker has XAUUSD + other metals, oil & indices closing for part of July 4 holiday in the US, FX are all open.

Great stuff in WCU thread mate, thanks for it & the nuggets here! I can't post in there as it says "I don't have the credentials to post" otherwise would've posted a screenshot for NZD yesterday, had been waiting on it since last week when I saw it setting up

Thanks J-J.... I don't keep up with it now..

You can post the NZD screenshot here. Osjoe won't mind as long as we try to keep this thread on topic and not distract people. I wish I had traded the NZD now as it did it perfectly.. I have closed my account though so can do other things for a while.

With the 4th July celebrations etc not sure if it will react different. The USD might stay weak for a couple of days. Read the 1% XAU/USD post here (If you can find it in this thread. I have mislaid my notes on it)

It closed at 1am London time

Into the Asian session the Dollar is the weakest.. It needs to be stronger then Gold.

Well it's nice to see that we finally got our first magical 1%, it's been a long while. I'm curious to see how XAUUSD reacts in the next couple of days.

EDIT (just for you) I hope all is well with you and your family. Enjoy your time away from the charts and the cpu screens. Enjoy that fresh UK air.....or rain..haha.

hahaha I can't remember when it last rained and it's been in the 80's and 90's for weeks now.... It's great but to hot.

I have a feeling the XAU/USD will be one of those where we have to wait days for it to do its magic. Remember though the longer it waits to bigger gold will drop with the USD.

The USD is in a mega sell zone... I will keep watching though when I can.

It's cocked up lately because it should close at 2am London time but it closes at 1am and when the next day starts it changes it...

yeah that is very confusing. It closed above 1% yesterday at 6pm CST and then it started a new day. How in the world are you supposed to trade off of that chart when they are going back and changing %"s after the fact.
