As I read from the Patron post, the important thing is to establish the market condition. The template does not matter nor does the method matter. In any case, I use 3 simple moving average, and the Macd (or any other oscillator, to suit the user), provides me with a complementary view of the Price. However, I do not use the indicators as a trigger, but I try to use the price action. In addition to the moving average, the pivots, the supports and the resistances, and the fibonaccis, they also help me to make decisions, looking for the highest odds in my favor. I also study the price in different timeframes.
