No I usually have SL and targets defined in same TF trading a specific swing to a NSH or NSL in that TF The second trade (referred to on previous post) was taken off of the Higher TF(1597) and SL was appropriate to that trade, but once into profit decided to close it rather than manage it this afternoon. I will occasionally look to a higher TF to see if it makes sense to me to move a sl or exit if a trade gets away from me on a lower TF, from my misreading of OF but this was not the case today. I just got tired and didn't want to babysit a longer term trade. I attached the 1597 to show you what i was looking at, I would be at BE right about where picture is now. Hope my explanation clears things up.

I screwed up that second trade of yours. Taken out before the drop and didn't get back in. Ouch

Congrats on your results man, are you trading live or demo? Nice progress as well, I can remeber someone saying May was a bad month, but it looks like you guys are killing it in June! Keep it up and lets all make bank together. Don't forget to spend some time with the loved ones

Good evening, traders. I had a few nice ones earlier today, that went against me negatively while I had to be away from my computer for a moment. Thus I couldn't move my stop to break even. Nevertheless, I can finally look at my chart(s) relatively distraction free.

So, does anyone see this 1:1 ? If so, is it valid?

ABCD isn't valid, price closed above the 78,6% retracement of the main swing.

Looks like a valid bat-pattern to me.

Even though the CD leg didn't retrace all the way up to the 88.6% retracement of the XA leg, price corrected right into an are of structure and offered great R:R for a short.

I guess it depends on your rules/retracement levels.

I curious what make you take the short from your first entry.I was think it will make a small correct and make NSH.Very impress the way you manage your trade

What's the profit target for a bat pattern?
