Very good to hear this mate. And I hope the followers of this thread, and in deed more FF members, understand this. Using a top-down, multi--time frane analysis offers much confidence to your trade. It is the basis of my weekly technical outlook thread and my trap the market thread.

Looking to sell the usdcad this coming week due to the upper resistance hit on the weekly chart, the bearish engulfing candle on the daily and also the overbought condition and turn on the rsi. The looney is sometimes very tricky to trade so those that are willing to take the plunge be careful. Looking to sell somewhere in the area of 1.3260-1.3280 with the first profit area being 1.3115-1.3135. Good luck to all.

Good luck to you too. Using the price action on the weekly time frame for trade planning purpose can be very profitable.

I will look to sell USDCAD on a short term basis this week. On the H4 time frame, we can see price action operating at the resistance zone of an ascending channel. The most recent price action is bearish and we may see a southward disposition of the market this week. A likely target of bears is the channel support line or the horizontal support around the 1.30400 area. I will hold a bearish bias on this pair until price action bounces off the inner trendline (navy), equivalent to the channel support line on the H4 time frame, or the horizontal support around the 1.29440 area, which adjoins the monthly pivot. However, should price action fail to turnaround at the channel resistance, which is a lack of bearish follow through on the H4 time frame, I will step aside for clarity of price action. It will take a northward breach of the channel resistance on the H4 time frame or the horizontal resistance around the 1.33235 area on a daily closing basis before I hold a bullish bias.

Thanks for the clarification. This is an idea from the RTM group for their set-and-forget system. Personally I don't use it, I use S/R zones based on the weekly time frame and look for price action around the zone. That way I don't make the mistake of erroneously predicting the market but benefit from confirming market reaction.

If any FF members on this thread have experience in successfully using QM they should please post on it here.
