Well.

Probable Short Bias and we're moving through what could be a Dead Cat Bounce.

Lower time-frames are showing a move Short as I write this.

Conclusion? Who knows, lol.

The Monster will do what The Monster will do.

we are away in the camper , so getting sorted ,then going.
Not taking any phones, tablets, Pcs blah blah

Remember,, when we have movement especially in this case LONG the mdr low will be adjusted.
The low of the 04-00 4 hr bar will always remain the same,
lets see if we have retrace and this 04-00 4 bar low triggers?

Hi Pips - I see you found the post .

The compootah-techie thing went fine. I had to figure out what exactly the guy had done to get to the state he was in (while of course he claimed he'd done...''absolutely nothing...it just did that...'') before I was able to get it to where I wanted.

Took 45 mins, lol. Fair enough, I got a cuppa out of it, so fair exchange.

So, back at the farm.

I did get the Short I thought was coming. However, I got well-and-truly gapped. Dropped away without me.

Now, normally with The DAX it's fatal to jump in straight away, as you will get a (usually small-ish) move back before it continues. Go in too quickly after a gap will more often than not, see you in a hole right away.

So, I held fire.

It didn't pull back. I love this Monster...

So #2, I let it show a little momo on the m1 and then jumped on board. According to my micro-S+D, I still had a bit of room below for price to move into.

Anyway, it went fine. Got my percents.

On the chart, the yellow line is where I wanted to get in.
The white one is the gapped entry level...and...
The Green one is where I actually got in.

We then got the expected ''Sucker-Bounce'', where The Monster turns and gobbles up all the chasers, late-comers and the greedy.

There was one thing I wanted to say, just in case it causes any confusion.

With my look at the morning moves to come, I will give an overall directional bias before breaking it down. I should have pointed out that this does not mean that I think that will be the bias for the day.

For me, I am looking at that bias as the major influence on things at that time.

You have to look at these morning moves as stand alone entities in the context of the whole day. You can't really let the day bias effect your decisions here, as more than likely you would never enter a trade in the right direction ever again, as the information would be completely contradictory.

Once the am move is done, then you can switch into Big-Picture mode.

Yesterday was the perfect example of this. I expected a blip at the time I was going to be going in and so my bias was for that direction (Long). However, it was blatantly obvious that the overall bias through the day was going to be Short.
