Yes sir, but i made a mistake with cadjpy closed it premature, because i was looking at candlestick chart instead of linebreak

you are using OANDA CHART WHILE NEIL USES fxcm chart dont you see the diferrence.and what time exaltly does line break chart closes.? because i discover that it doesnt close the same time meta4 closes

Hmm i'm not sure where to begin.

Im sure he is using tradingview platform provided by fxcm.

Im doing the same thing using tradingview platform provided by oanda.

I'm not sure what mt4 has to do with this?

ok, what time does that oanda line break chart closes? because i waited all night for the line break chart to close and another one to open. but it never opened

I also have a demo TradingView account tied to my Oanda account. I have 5 charts open at the same time (the max you can have with TV demo). Within the last couple of months I have noticed that updating of the price does freeze as hibra68 has said. I found out that if you ensure that only 1 of the charts is logged in, performance seems to be better/wake up. Try that on your Line Break charts. With Neil's suggestion, I tried LB charts for a couple of weeks in parallel with my other charts. Historically I could see how it mapped to RSI, but it seemed to me that in order for it to work I had to constantly watch the charts, so I have given up on that approach. However, I do use RSI2 with HA and regular candles, and I'm having good success with that being a part of my strategy.

For those who use trading view charts. Try not to open to many if your using a free account as they don't like it... After a while they will stop the feed and the prices won't update.

I have live account and the tradingview is down since last night. I might have to try the mt4 workaround that u provided.

Guys I'm trading the contrarian in my own way.

I have to keep trading to let you know how it goes but so far so good.

Same rules.

EXAMPLE
70% long vs 30 % short, 5000 volume on longside(3 to 1 for minors, 15000 for majors etc.) rsi2hlc3 crosses 30, we go short.

But I've added something. I use rsi2hlc3 on MT4 4hr time frame for confirmation.

First : If we are shorting like the example up there. We are looking for rsi2hlc3 4hr mt4 to go above 70 and than come back. Also look at the 4hr candle for confirmation. If the candle looks like its bearish than its good.


Second: Once we take the trade our SL is above the last high. We look for 4hr rsi2hlc3 4hr mt4 to go below 30. Once it does we are looking to get out of the trade. Again we are looking for a bullish candle on 4hr to get out.

I cant post anything right now , I gotta get my tradingview up and running.

P.S. So basically we are in and out of trades and we dont have to take trades on mondays only. We follow the main trend (main trend is confirmed by the original entry rules based on myfxbook and rsi2hlc3. But for your info I am not using scorpianfx) As long as the main trend is in place we keep taking trades in the direction of the trend when it is confirmed by 4hr rsi2hlc3 on mt4.
This allows me to look for fresh trades i.e. when there is a fresh cross on the daily rsi2hlc3 on the tradingview .
