i just realise after the fact that i like to keep trades for longer

Hi suirad0, can you please share your type of fibo indicator? I know Davit does not like it and says there's no need to see the past. But I'm just starting out and I would like to try to help me get a better insight into the price movement. Thank you very much

please, if you dont read the thread then take always before a look into the paperclip section before asking here beginners questions.

Hi, David quick question, I'm still reading your entire post here, Im still at Page 165.
Anyway, I'm just wondering when do you usually trade the most? NY or London session? I know you have to wait that price would hit on certain Pivot but do you have any preference on what session you trade?

I am back with the system after a long break and have been reading the documents of davitts consolidated commentary and now following for about 100 pages of posts. Will be posting commentary / trades again soon.

Also a very nice template setup, would you mind sharing your template. and your indi's would be great if you have time. if not I can probably find / search them from the review of the TPL.

the main indicators i use are from this thread,you can find them in the paperclip.
others are just to make my work easier (chart management) like symbol changer indi to be able to switch fast on same chart on any pair i want,and the one from up right corner is just to see curent pair price when i am far from my pc (on the sofa ) is hitman indicator same does magnified price from post 1.
you must find them on your own as i will never polute this thread with any other indicators who are not part of the sistem or who does interfere with the system.
I mention one more time guidance is STRICT based on indicators from Davit my own way of trading PA based on those and of course my own MM.
what i use to make my work easier on mt4 have no use in trading decisions at all.you find them and build your own tpl but be careful to not post tpl's with other indi's as decisional or helpers in trading decisions who are out from post 1 sistem ,in fact all you need is here.

A couple of years ago I read Kostolany Andre 'Und was macht der Dollar?' ('And what does the dollar do') there was a topic about the gold standard and that,
in the opinion of the author, there is no longer any need for it. He then explains that each
currency, and so there is some value that determines its course, and conducts a short analysis:

USD: political stability, absolute respect for private property, high technologies, raw materials, dynamics of entrepreneurs.
D-Mark (euro): political stability (it was), diligence, propensity for economy and discipline of the German people.
GBP: remnants of the former empire, world trade, City of London, an important banking and insurance center, shipping and a bonus to the North Sea oil.
CHF: centuries of neutrality, legally protected bank secrecy (no longer).
French franc: French style of life and taste, as well as the resourcefulness of the French - they do not have oil but have ideas.
JPY: developed industry, the modesty of the Japanese worker.

In short, these are all those qualities, virtues and circumstances that determine the rank of the currencies. If the virtues claim that the currency is worth more, they lose their importance and lose their meaning.

I like you think fundamentals are very important, but this book was written 30 years ago. Can anyone either advise resources or books where a similar analysis of currencies, not just bare numbers in the form of GDP, PPI etc.

OK thanks that's enough information for me to build similar. Symbol changer I can find etc. The only other.. Is showing one the pips of each closed trade.

Forex is totally different animal.What you have read is useless now.Trading is on a whole different plane and focus on that.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

maybe buy the dip on EJ
As Husky demonstrated there are lots of set ups at 100S-61S and flip side of this.Markets are dragging now.Not difficult to spot them.

For me EJ is very much a risk-on pair.
Right now, equities seem to want to go a bit lower.

I said buy the dip....things change very quickly. This system is about execution and there is random distribution of winners and losers meaning you don't know which trades are winners before hand. If I take 10 trades exactly on system rules I can get 70-80% winners 30-20% losers are the random part.
