Yes, I am manually moving my SL = stop loss, simply because I can. I know there are ways to automate this, however, I do it manually.

Sorry guys, I did get out after adding in I was not going to be around and was in with 150 contracts I averaged in a really good price and was able to get out with about 60K of profit. Nothing has changed from the stream and the analysis. All we got was a deeper than expected correction.

Damian, is it correct to say that the side who has less candles needed to accomplish the same distance the opposite direction has the imbalance in favour or in other words the momentum up vs the momentum down shows who is in favour of the imbalance. On the chart the circle is an example of what I mean

To simplify it look at it as who is covering more distance with less candles. That is accumulation who corrects deep but with more candles is consuming. So whoever is accumulating in general is who imbalance favors. In you chart within your circle you saw the sellers accumulate over the buyers. Prior to that they were consuming the majority of the swing. Once accumulation starts to take place the imbalance shortly follows.

Is it fair to say that consumption and accumulation is a way to measure strength of volume in regards to price?


And is this different than accumulation and distribution as a way to measure the strength of volume in regards to price?

I actually tried to look those words up in the way they are used for a security price as opposed to their common meaning.

Here are my thoughts on USD/JPY.

a) Price made an NSL with a decent projection (P1).
b) The expectation is a medium sized correction which it made to the 50% fib level.
c) Long term expectation is an NSL.
d) Short term expectation is an NSH.
e) Looking for shorts in zone 2 at the 50% fib level.
f) SL above 78.6% fib level above structure (marked with the orange ellipse) for a favorable risk/reward.
g) Do you guys consider taking short trades (aligned with long term expectation) in the blue marked areas as well?

I am a little confused as you indicated you were in with 150 contracts but your p/l says 98 contracts.
