Further zooming into the EURGBP to see if there is a chance of entering on a correction, I have found a potential wave 2 pattern formation, it is always important to get an alternate view of the markets so on the left is a more conservative analysis with wave 3 already formed, either way there is potential play to the downside

I will however not be taking this trade due to geopolitical uncertainty surrounding the Pound and its potential weakness over Brexit that hit the wires as I was analysing this pair, however, the analysis is still valid and if the uncertainty is sorted out by the UK open and there is a chance to still get in I will

14:38 L=15.90 Mate , I think this drop from the 18.52 high has happily landed here forming a sympathetic a-b-c

Good chances for a serious uplift . 30 pips SL will suffice fttb imho.....

I am not saying 'no' to your point of view. You may be right. I am not right most of the time. I use the word assumption a lot for everyone to know, it's just a point of view. Elliot wave although a science of it's own, it's pretty hard to predict. We have to change courses and take detours as we go along as nothing is fixed.

Anyhow, unless EU breaks the last low 1.1510, i am not convinced and hopes that EU bounces up. This could be a deep 2nd wave as well. no harm in keeping some tight SL and buying a few, but that's just me. Trade safe.

Have a look at the actual Big Picture of the EURUSD from A.Tiedje - it indicates a "ZigZag" for a wave "2" because wave "A" is an impulse.

Note that this count completely differs to the EWI opinion.

thanks for that monthly chart sixer.

The ending of A wave is still a mystery. maybe it has ended or maybe it might go down a couple of hundred pips. anyway next week we will surely know if an upward momentum will start. The cycle also ends as it's mid june.

My opinion on a weekly chart on eur/usd.
Although sixer's monthly chart looks like a good possibility, i'd still prefer this chart.

I have drawn an equidistant channel from the start of the the bullish run and have counted my waves. check this chart:

I guess you are aware that stops get run by "manipulating big forces".(you can Google the details.)
That level I marked on the 15 minute chart, looks like a likely place where stops (sitting ducks), are accumulated...and might be targeted.If that ends up happening, then the intention would be to flush the weak hands (short traders), and then go south...fueled by their money, but without them.
Hope this helps.
Btw. there was a spike half hour ago, that looks like a stop run on a level slightly below the one I marked..
