GBP
Nice article about GBP from ING.
https://think.ing.com/articles/gbp-t...rexit-trinity/

Short-term Brexit uncertainties keeping GBP sidelined for now
We estimate that GBP/USD is trading with a 2.5-3.0% discount at present – which is indicative of a 'muddling through' Brexit risk premium. This is unsurprising given the near-term focus on the Commons Withdrawal Bill vote (tomorrow) and the 28-29 June EU leaders’ summit. We would expect this uncertainty premium to remain in the price of GBP until further clarity on the Brexit front.
However, GBP's currently depressed value suggests that a lot of 'bad' Brexit news is already in the price. For a more sustained downturn, we'd need to see the probability of a 'hard' Brexit pick-up substantially. This week's events in the House of Commons are unlikely to shift one's assessment materially (in either direction).

Summary of the article,
Bottom line: A lot of bad news priced in... but hard to find a positive Brexit catalyst
While a tricky summer of Brexit politics lies ahead, with May facing an impossible Brexit trinity, the pound still remains a good long-term value play. Our current forecasts continue to look for sterling to navigate towards levels consistent with a ‘neutral’ Brexit later this year (GBP/USD: 1.43 and EUR/GBP: 0.86)* – with the near-term balance of risks tilted towards GBP/USD moving back towards 1.36 (200-day moving average).
*These remain under review – and we will address GBP's longer-term direction in a note later this summer.
One Good Trade

regarding pivots levels - what did the job for me, because none of the options worked for me, generally speaking. Had problems mainly with AUD and JPY pairs, even if most of the other pairs were correct. Even had 25-35 pips difference for some (using Oanda Europe).

I took each pair and played with - and +, or simply set broker candle to true, so the pivots were aligned with the pivots from the site previously mentionet by Davit. https://www.actionforex.com/markets/...-pivot-points/

Then saved the template for that pair. I usually have opened in tabs each pair that I follow, but won`t be much of a trouble to load the template for that pair.

So it`s pretty easy: align all pairs you trade -> save template for each chart -> load template every time you need that pair.

Tekkies where in SA are you from? I'm also from SA had some problems but used Davit's action market reply to align the pivots. We should text on w/app to expand knowledge if you don't mind.
Again Davit introducing me to pivots saved me pips, money and time. Thank you and bless you.

Happy green pips.

Hi Tekkies,

if you don't want to bother with timezone settings you can try "Pivot_Voty-2 ALERT".

As you can see pivots match the correct ones here:

https://www.actionforex.com/markets/...-pivot-points/

Best regards,
Bubincka

Will just have to live with it. Just just inside spec "Its a zone after all"
Davit, Bubincka concerning refereer web page:
Click here for other pivot points: Standard, Fibonacci, Camarilla, Woodie’s, DeMark’s, Forumlas

Will it make / have any difference as to what type of pivot point's are used?

Hi Tekkies,

as far as I understand your question, the WP_line is the same, while R/S levels change as per their specific calculation-

Am trying to understand Pivot Point's indicator.
You have to understand the indicator before you even can start using Pivot Point's as Davit has posted.
A wrong setting will and can have a major impact on trading results.
(Unless you are one of many driver's that know there is a engine in front or back of the steering wheel and need's oil / water / fuel and don't care about the rest)

Inside the indicator and on webpage a trader has a choice to use Standard or Fibonacci. Does it really matter what you chose?
