CAD has lots of headwinds currently also with agreement to boost production in upcoming OPEC meeting and arguably dismal US/Canadian relations currently and the prospects of NAFTA resolution being pretty dim... It is nice when the fundamentals line up with the trade, I think any strength in CAD will be shortlived.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), the EU Withdrawal Bill – which would see all current EU rules enshrined into UK law in March 2019 - will return to the House of Commons. . A loss can be a blow to PM May’s government.

GA may drop to 75 worth looking for possible longs

Note I don't trade GJ its a beast but do on occasion take GN and GA trades but they are not on my top choices.Trade with care.

I shorted NCAD from r61 and also ECAD from r38 (because the PA looked favorable). Still holding NCAD after it went right through r38, but is now approaching likely resistance at the PP, nearly a 60 pip move at the moment. Lovely swings, Davit!

I'm glad it's working for you... I wanted to follow you into that one and I loved the setup, but I am really worried about all cad headwinds... My loss for follwoing fundamentals instead of PA. I'm glad it's working for you. But if cad pairs can close the gap I'm gonna be selling it every chance i get on any sign of reversal!

Thanks, Joe. Yep, I am out of that trade now. I no longer predict or get emotional (if I am something is very wrong with the trade or my day lol). See setup, assess risk, set lot size to risk, and place trade (or not). Many times, "or not" is the wise choice for a variety of reasons, especially if I missed the better part of a move; no point chasing trades with so many opportunities. Good trading.

Be like a general commanding troops into battle.
Like MrAussieFx once said: send out a scouting team, wait for news, if confirmed direction, hit 'em hard with more troops.
Always keep more troops on reserve because THE MARKET CAN DO ANYTHING!
