EDIT: if charts are not clear i always choose short if i trade ... in doubt i always use defensive position

I'm scared because the Vesuvio is one of the most dangerous volcano of the world. It's active and if it explodes it could kill at least 800.000 people

But the Vesuvio it's like a small firecracker compared to the Campi Flegrei. Campi is the most powerful supervolcano, like Yellowstone; it's diameter is 15km and we are sitting all above. If it explodes (it's quiescient actually) it could destroy the whole region, changing the morphology of the territory forever; and the ashes could start a new glacial era which affect the whole world for many years, destabilizing everything everywhere

Yes, I was done too. It did a last swing south and then bounced hard this time. I was taking breakfast and then went out. I thought the DAX did give enough for the day. I simply forgot that it is indeed a monster that gets really generous from time to time, even on fridays!

Wonderful, I had as a TP the trendline and it seems as since this morning, it did reach it, bounced off it and then continued its way up.

The DAX is a beauty as it reacts well to levels and lines. You could just follow it grabbing +1's, +2's and +3's with minimal risk as well, taking just the first bounce.

Hi folks. Hope everyone managed to come out green today.

Just doing a quick roundup and the first good Dead Zone set-up I came to was - guess what - UC. Just about as rock-solid as you could ever get with a major Supply Zone to feed off.

Another option would have been Gold. Although you can see that price didn't ever quite bounce high enough to trigger a pure entry out of the Upper WZ, you could still have freelanced it and taken a taste of the short moves, knowing that you had the downward pressure. It's also entirely possible that there may have been a lower edge available on, say, m30.

Right, just a quick add-in before I go. I have answered a pm on the above trade and it brought up a point I should have mentioned.

In the set-up above, had I been trading it, the presence of the Supply Zone would mean that I would only have been interested in shorts.

However, if you played it ''naked'', without the influence of the Supply Zone, then you could have - indeed should have as that move came first - gone in as price travelled up the body of the Set-Up candle, as price left the lower WZ (though there actually isn't any lower WZ in this).
