It's resistant to 0.7660 which it reached within the last hour. It's resistant despite dxy pushing lower

USDX touched 95 last week. If doesn't stop at 92 zone, it will be going to 90 zone.
AUD will be the winner if this occurs. Id's say, above 0.80.
Let's watch it.

That's a Multiyear Trendline breakout with pullback (Weekly), right at the crossing with the downtrend as resistance.
Daily candles show the appropriate reaction.
That's a short Setup.

On last friday (01.06) came this news which was positive for USD.

Could you tell me someone why don't we see this USD strengthening on the chart?

Maybe the long term trendline will work? but the problem is AUD got positive GDP news on Wednesday.

So if we observe this news then AUD/USD where will go?

The market may have a delayed reaction or has discounted the news. Besides, the market does not react the same way to the same news all the time. Also be wary of market makers' manipulation.

Trailing Stop agressive because weekend.
At this point I am willing to get stopped.
Successful Short trade, entry was a bit late though, but green is the color

By the time you know about the news either you are too late to the party or you don't know how the market is handling it.

Teek, thanks for the hint: short Setup.

I have two successful short trades and locked-in green pips from an on-going buy trade from the bottom. Great charts - simple and straight forward.

The AUDUSD has been very volatile around its 55 day EMA at the 0.7600 level without a clear direction. The 0.7700 zone may act as resistance and to the downside the most important support is at the 0.7400 area.

Well, I did not trade the AUD/JPY - missed opportunity. I will check AUD pairs as soon as my platform opens. I'll prepare and analyze charts to setup for AUD pairs potential trades.

I have to thank you also for recommending the finvz link on 1 day relative performance - you posted it on EUR/USD only thread. Great info presented in a simple manner.
