Well, I think the overall pressure is going to be long today but it was looking PA-wise like we were going to get some typical Monster-style shenanigans as we'd see some shimmying and head-fakery in the short direction first.
I let my normal two hour WZ block go, as the lower wick was very long and as I said, I felt we were going to get a short move of some sort first, just not enough to wait for a break of the low.
So, switched over to another piece of pure
-Tech, the Z-Line Trade.
This uses a MOMO candle break over a level to set up a play off the following retrace to that same level.
It actually wasn't that convincing a MOMO (didn't close over the level - but as I said, I was expecting all this) but it gave me the shape I was looking for.
On the chart, candles #1 and #2 are the ones that form my usual 2-hr block. I have candle #2 break my level and when the following candle #3 retraced back to and then away from, I enter short.
Went in heavy in case it didn't go the full distance, though needn't have worried.
Got my percents and happy camper time.
DAX-Monster (Done Z-Line Short). +5%

Sure enough, the short was err, short-lived.
On top of all that, if you had waited - and not been writing this post here - then the WZ move came in the form of the long trip North back into the body.
DAX 06:00 - 08:00 (Done as WZ trip North).
