Dollar Index looks like it was a stone cert DZ today. I really need to get my finger out and get the DZ rolling at full speed again.

Morning all.
I am back, arriving home in the early hours after fixing a guy.
The rotter posted something on face book about my gf being alone in a camper .
My friend supplied me with details as i do not use FB..
So he now needs a new vehicle and head.
anyway back to trading

Yesterday i did not trade the long off a retrace, IT WOULD OF BEEN GOOD lol.
the break south would of been ok too but it could of proved tricky.
we got the drop and we made the modest daily range plus a few extra.
it was always going to go if not yesterday then today.
right, i will catch up on the posting

A strange look to The Monster this morning. Small - not unusual - first candle into a gap up to what went into a spike, which I admit I got a taste of, then a retrace all the way back down and it's sitting in a spindle doji as i write.

Overall, long term I'd be looking at Long but in the short term, it could be tricky.

Wasn't entirely comfortable with it today, so took a chance (a calculated gamble) that I'd get at least a blip long and went in uber heavy. Remember, I had already bagged a good chunk on the earlier move into the spike pre-KO.

I got what I wanted. A few steps long before a quick about-face. The long gave me the handful of percents and the about-face I didn't care about.

If you had wanted to and waited, you could have bagged on the break of the low.

DAX 06:00 - 08:00 (WZ move - blip - North) +3%

NB: Ignore the yellow lines on the above chart, they're just levels of interest I'm keeping an eye on for later possibilities.
