DislikedIs anyone trading this range on the YM? Have any of you had success trading a lower time frame when price is in a range like this?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I usually like to look at the 89 tick chart to see entries on the 233 tick chart. I use the 233 tick chart to see the strength and weakness of the 1597 tick chart. Mr. Pip says on some of his videos that he tries to align himself (233 tick chart) with the longer term order flow --> 1597. Looking at the 1597, one can see if they are counter trading with the 233 tick chart or going with the flow of the 1597. I am still learning... Most of my main entries have been on the 233 tick chart moving forward. I guess I could consider my 89 tick chart...Ignored
DislikedOver the last few months I have been demo trading. At first I kept making stupid mistakes and blowing my demo accounts. (Trying to get those mindless gambling type habits out of my system and become more mechanical.) Finally.... I started with a new 10K practice account for the umph time. Over the last 3 to 4 weeks I have doubled it as of tonight. There are still some trades I don't think I would really take on a live account. However, I am trying to stick to the rules that I have been learning from this thread and you experienced traders. Although,...Ignored
I am happy to hear you have improved your stats. I only recently started live trading myself after many months of demo. One thing stuck with that Mr. Pip said: "If you can be consistently profitable over 3 months, you can be consistently profitable." You have one month down, keep it up
DislikedPlot the price structures to have high probabilities that the price reaches there. We identify impulse and then its correction. We're short, in this case, +51. And then the bullish rebound, by large volume and BT. I did not have time to record it, but we were there. Greetings, good weekend. {image} {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} I'm long 24619, which was way higher than I intended, I left the screen for 1 minute and price rotated without me, but I hopped on anyways. The bulls don't seem to have enough steam to get me to the 1:1 before the close so I'll be trailing structure and looking to close the position before the market closes if I don't get taken out first. I do occasionally trade the 89T when prices is ranging but I like to see ranges of 70-80+ pts or so to give me enough room to do that.Ignored
Disliked{quote} What is your Max risk tolerance (pts)? And where did you place your stop? I would have entered long at 24600 but that would have needed 45pts of risk so I stayed out (233t). The trade would have been profitable but we don't break our rules.Ignored
DislikedWrapping up a very sideways month. I would be interested to see YM stats from April/May on the intraday order flow from whoever is willing to share. April and the first two weeks in May were very profitable for me followed by terrible results for the last part of May. Interested to see if everyone else had similar results or if I just traded poorly. I'm not complaining, I would take back to back months of +1873 and +76 over and over and over again, but I always try to assess my monthly performance as best I can. May Stats 92 Trades 54 Winners (13...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi all - was away for a holiday last couple of weeks so haven't trading for the past couple of weeks. I am still very new to harmonic trading and am still making fairly large losses. My results reflect yours bmdenton23 in that I had a worse May when compared to April. My stats are: April: 114 trades 46.49% w/l 54 winning/BE trades 60 losers Total points: -250 May: 40 trades 42.50% w/l 17 winning/BE trades 23 losers Total points: -297 After a bit of reflection I noted that I made fewer poor trades in May despite the higher losses which I...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hello my friend seems there might be some issues with your RR. What is your RR look like?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for the feedback. I think you have pointed out an area of weakness of my trading which I believe I have already started to improve on. In April the RR I was taking on was poor on many occasions as I took on more trades at around the 38% fib where there was structure than the trades I took on at 50.0%, 62.8% or higher. Another reason for the lack of success was also due to the fact that I did not consider structure as much as I should have and I simply got myself confused with the order flow. In May my selections improved but I still...Ignored
