I'm an Aussie and the GDP tomorrow is being talked up as being positive tomorrow on the ABC radio, it could give a slightly better entry

possible but im more a technical-wise..
Got an entry for weekly positioning (Swing) so I jumped in..

Fundis can be dead misleading tho but whatever works

I took almost the same entry, holding two positions (split targets, bit wider Stops though)
Need some pressure though, but as long as it crawls down, I'm fine

Might reenter as it screams "short" but the Aussie is strong today and the Yen is weak, so I stay out for now and have an eye on it.

Also got stopped out but looking to re-enter at anything below 83.58..

no reentry for me, I stay on the sidelines as price sits flat at 50% Fib and top of the range
Not enough juice for a Mean Reversal short anyway and if Yen remains weak, shorts are out of the window.

Interesting Level to watch, since price sits flat at resistance...

I think this will drop when AUDUSD goes back to the lower range

we have to wait and see.
Technicly it's on top of it's range, so a short makes sense on the first look, but price has support from Meanprice EMA's (EMA 10/20, the ...... Lines on my Chart) and the SMA 50 (the light gray Line).
If resistance breaks and confirms as support, a buy makes sense.
It depends on Strength or Weakness of the Yen during the day, also on the Strength/Weakness of the Aussie against the USD.
We have to see if current Resistance holds and price pulls down to deliver a better Buy price for a possible Long entry, or breaks Resistence and delivers a Long Signal (I trade candlesticks priceaction signals that form around pricelevels of Interest).
It also depends on which timeframes you trade. Intraday shorts on Yen Strength and Aussie Weakness do make sense.
I don't trade this pair intraday, so far I don't get a clear entry, so I stay out for now.

Philosophie: buy strength, sell weakness
