Hi Claudia, you are right only made £30 on +372 pips, but my problem is ive blown a few £500 accounts over a few years which is nearly 2 weeks wages for me, so ive got a £100 account upto £171 over a few months, i started with 0.02 lot size and this week i've started useing 0.05 so the trades are a combination of both lot sizes, plan is to build the account very slow, would be nice if i could get it upto £500 and then i would have more room for DD, whats you advise do you think the account size is too small or can it be done ? cheers

The NJ trade was closed by mistake, i had 4 cable trades to close quickly and i clicked on them very quickly and closed NJ by mistake -what a plonker lol, i didnt want to close so i put a buy back on, and it currentlly stands at +£5.40 so -£4 ish ...

Gardening - only under supervision. Car wash now done by nice guys at Tesco.
I don't intend to post too much now since others put up good charts and it's nice to lurk for a while. Have been experimenting with "range Bars" elsewhere with an idea to top up my trading style repertoire. But this thread is the tops though

You doing ok. We all make mistakes - Billy went from cider to pepsi how silly is that.

Account size helps.

On a serious note - Billy's mantra of collecting five pips per trade has a lot of sense since it can be built up. But Claudia is right to state that account size helps but you can work your way up -just takes longer that's all. I've said before, as a young retired guy that £200 weekly pays for a nice lease car and other bits. I could afford it without trading but it's nice to do so all the same.

This is a bit trickier..
Ideally we want the 00-00 4 bar to break hi/lo and then retrace to break the other end..
But if it breaks hi/lo moves x amount and then retraces to break the other end.
LOOK TO SEE HOW MUCH MORE WE HAVE TO PLAY WITH DAILY RANGE.
for instance, if the range has only moved example,,, 50 /60points , we know it should get 70 (bad day and then the adr.

IT CAN FAIL AND NOT GO TO PLAN, but we do not do this every day.. it is good though.
