For H1 only. Price finally ended the H1 downtrend running for 82 hours. (If you are buying stop loss if any H1 can close below 1.1786) good luck

There's no 'constructive' criticism in free chatting! Is just criticism!
That's because EGO is way bigger than reason in all Universes after the BBang and it will always be.
So, the common people will perceive any criticism as envy, ambition, arrogance, superiority, competition, fight, bad mood, frustration...
IMO is much wiser to 'learn and grow' by watching other's work, not by telling someone basically 'you suck!'

If you don't tell yourself that guy suck. you limit yourself to the other guy's suckeroo - your choice anyway. Whether you tell the world about it is another thing.

Could we please go back to trading instead of making this another EUR/USD thread?
Forexfactory really need two of this kind? Just saying... it's really getting worse in here.

So, I try a little intraday scalp (Short).
Entry taken on H1 - Bollinger Bands ( 20, 2) / Stochastic (5,3,3) / Daily SR (1.1816) / Intraday Pivots:
Anticipating a 1:3 (RR) pull to the downside with a break of the daily Pivot, targeting the S1 pricelevel in trend direction, with a super tight Stop,
based on my overall TA (see previous post).

Don't know if it works, I am not trying to "win trades".
It's a good opportunity.

(Please do not copy my trades, if you do you are alone!)

Entry: 1.18079 (third time I sell this price intraday)
Stop: 1.18204
Target: not set

Makes me happy to see this level of absorption, specially when I missed my entry by 5 pips while changing the songs on my play list, and still jumped in w/wider SL.
Not a good thing to do.

So entry Long at .1814 instead of .1809, SL .1803 which makes it double that I would like to have on an area strong like this one.
TGT as usually open, as I expect upwards momentum at least 'till .1850 area.

Boom, first TGT reached at next supply level .1821
SL stays in place unfortunately, too far for my taste but also I wont close for + 7 pips when Bullish forecast on the plate.
Next buy level back where we broke and I bought - .1815

Now, I like to share my knowledge and absorb as much as I can from others...

Yesterday some "trader" cracked me up with a Joke about Fib. and that being useless and so...

Here an example of our current chart - Fib. Levels and S&D levels match almost on every level.
Evidence for that is not only my chart and graphs, but also the PA.

So the conclusion is: If you Fib. Does not make sense constantly - You dont have a clue what you are doing!

PS - Fib. is math progression! In this world traded by computer algorithms (aka math questions) one have to be a fool not to take that in consideration

2 stages of pull back before this turns to a Fake break and we enter that "beloved .1810 area"
Also a nice chance to buy dips...if one is confident on confirmation of break and Bull direction

EDIT: .1810 very likely to be re-tested.

I will try and explain in simple terms:
The 4 highlighted blocks represent Asia(brown rectangle) and New york (Blue rectangle)
Yesterday morning in Asia price went above the New york session high of the day before, the first clue that price is taking a rest.
Yesterday in New York they pushed price below the Asian session but held it within the New york range of the day before. A sign of indecision. And this is where I opened my first trades.
This morning they opened Asia just above The new york session low and pushed it just above the New York session high of yesterday. A good time to get in.
The main objective is to bring price up above yesterday Asian session high. Ideally for the week to end above 1.18370 and Monday I will defintely look to enter more buy trades.
Nothing is guaranteed in forex and anything can happen today. My whole objective is not to give you entries but a method you can use to enhance your own trading and as you can see that absolute patience is needed when we go for longer term trades.

Ps. if you dont understand the meaning of any of my words just shout.

I agree.
But I stopped discussing Fibonacci (and anything else) a long time ago.
Fibonacci is super precise, if used right. (It's a measurement tool, not a "Signal Indicator")
The problem is: people tend to trade the lines instead of the price.
To use Fibonacci, or Pivots, or simple Support and Resistance, or Supply and Demand, or or or... you MUST have a good understanding of priceaction.
If you can't read candlesticks and priceaction, that form around the lines, whichever lines you use, they wont help you.
Sad truth is, people look at candlestick charts all the time and have no idea what they are looking at.
And trying to discuss with these 90%, is nothing but a waste of time and energy.

There are some serious "Boom & Busters" around us who are not shy to go into wild verbal insults and abuse when they crash yet another account.
You should see some of the PM's I recieve, that's beyond wild...
I firmly believe the "Ignore" button is the go-to tool for these kind of people.
Do not be disencouraged by idiots, and don't waste your energy.
It makes no sense to bang your head against some mad buggers wall....
Eliminate all emotion, and stay positive, always

Also, I want to add:
the worst trading desk you can come across on a professional level, is a desk where everyone is of the same opinion. That's the worst thing that can happen because you end up with a portfolio where every trader has the same or very similar positions, and this causes unreasonable drawdowns.
Diversity is the spice of life, and having different opinions is worth cash money.
think about it, how bad can it be if everyone agrees and we are all wrong? Terrible situation...
you also don't get proper fistfights in such a "we are all friends" situation. Terrible.. no opportunity to place bets
If you have 10 traders on the desk, you must have at least 8 different opinions. Otherwise your desk sucks.
