I must be missing something here, really. Op says that the "balance line" is either resistance or support line which is good, but i don't understand why you have to keep trading the crosses of th eline. If it is a resistance line, just place the sell the order and let is drop in price. with 3:1 ratio and let it hit TP If it is support line, just buy and let it go up in price to hit your TP (you can have 3:1) Why do we need to enter trade every time we get a cross of this line... someone help me pleeeeeeze

This answer is important. So be patient

when the resistance and support have been finished the price must leaving the line .but if the price is close with the line then we can make sure that there is no s/r

S/r is a position that we can see after the market moving

i don’t know if you can understand what I said here

this is more like Chinese philosophy that we called DAO

So if you have some experience with market. You absolutely can set the line 99999pips far from now. But you should Set the stop loss about at the line sothat you should have a take profits at least 3x99999.
So we can see. All we are doing is making sure howmuch risk win ratios we can afford

i will tell you something true, if we have a random trade whatever long or short, but we set tp:sl>3:1 it will be profitable in a long time. I test it with program for many times, this is the result of my ea,it just set the balance line at 0930 when the futures market begin in my country. {image}

This is biggest mistake what you wrote...Let me explain one thing to you.

1:1 = 50% win in long run
3:1 = 25% win in long run
etc....tested milion times on milion different AOS, no matter what method you use, result is always that simple.

You're talking about mathematical odds expressed as a %.

As I understand the OP's post, if you risk 1 to win 3 with a 50% strike rate you win in the long run.

Just two different interpretations of a post made by someone trying their best to speak English. No need to make derogatory remarks.
Good Trading

在你妄想跟我谈论概率的时候,你就假设了一个前提条件,那就是“市场是完全随机波动的“,可是事实证明,市场并不是随机漫步的。

some people look like they never have educated
the probability must be set on a random market.
how can prove the market is random?

if you set tp:sl=1:99 yes i agree with you the win ratio will be 1%

but any time we can see the price leaving someplace forever, ratio is nothing now.

a book for you betzerr pig 《real analysis modern techniques and their applications(2nd) Folland》

对于概率为0的事件一定不可能发生么?这就是数学问题,尤其是 for hetzerr the stupid pig

如果是古典概型,因为样本空间是有限的,所以零概率事件和不可能事件恰好重合。
如果是几何概型,零概率事件就不一定是不可能事件。

translate by google:
If it s classical, because the sample space is finite, the zero probability event is exactly the same as the impossible, and if its a geometric generalization, the zero probability event is not necessarily an impossible event.

i don't know why i will come here to teach you stupid thing.

i m gone,you take care youself.

Liunliun, some people will say things to hurt you because that's just what they like to do, others don't understand properly and are confused. But some of us understand and appreciate the information.

some body talk about Ratio,
I want to tell you ,the ratio is not exist in the market.
this post is very important to change your old mind.

now i will give u some example.

in stock or future,we have only one place to trade, its say that all traders' trades are send to one place called exchange ,then the exchange manages our orders.
but except forex market,in forex market there is no exchange like stock or future for small players.

then i want to show you some thing about ratio
look at the 1st picture ,there is a gap
the 2nd picture is 盘口 i don't know how to say that in English.

if there is a gap in one day 's open ,the priceopen>the yesterday'close, and the 盘口'buy>>(>>means a good bigger than)盘口'sell
then i take a long ,and i set the sl=yesterday'close tp=(pricenow - sl)+price
then i ask you a question, how much is the win ratio?
maybe some older will tell me "because sl=tp so win:loss=1:1"
completely wrong!

the win:loss will upper than 99:1!

another example.
every body know the support and resistance, and every body know that the price break&cross the support and resistance will be so so so fast.
what does it mean?
that means when market break a strong resistance or support ,its need very strong power,so at that time if you take a trade with the trend, then you have a 1:1 tpsl, but there are small, then you will have more than 80% win.

another example again
the consolidation and trend.
when the market in the consolidation, that means the long and short are fighting, but when the trend is comming, that means someone is win.
So as we cansee, when the price leave one consolidation, they have a big ratio the market will not come back again in a short time.

there are so many thing without ratio in the market.
I just want to tell you the reason why some ppl can make money in the market is because the market is not random, ratio is a fake!
the Kelly formula just tell you to know if you are safe or not,it doesn't tell you if you will have a big win then the win ratio will be low!
the market is not random. if market is random then nobody can make money here.

funny thread, but profitable. worked on eur/usd 30m

about the balance line, well, i guess its just up to the trader.

suggestions, if a price was rejected 2 or 3 times at a high or low R&S draw a line from there then, simple

It´s not a trading system, it´s a trading discussion.
you discussed the balanceline and some opportunities how to trade it.

Good luck.
