A good question.....what form of governance would be best suited to Mars? Given that your survival is so dependent on life sustaining infrastructure, one would think that it would be necessary to recouch the principles of sustainable development in terms of a government that was hell bent on protecting it's human infrastructure (do you see the irony?). It is such a shame that given our perceived separation from our more robust life sustaining environment here on earth...that it also does not lie front and center in the debate. We are a weird life-form that could be listening to the "grand clue of nature" ....namely survival of the species, yet the noise of our schizophrenic brain and it's focus on "self" continues to dominate the rational signal to future prosperity.

good one C. back at home i have also pics with currencies and commodities that were uin a boom/bust cicle. they remember me that market like people are irrational developing "mania phases" and riding mania pays big.
